Abstract
Description
Zigbee wireless communication technology is low power and attracts the most attention in USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network) based home network and various sensor systems. Digital TV broadcasting will be carried out in Korea from 2012. Therefore, the combination of digital TV and Zigbee's wireless communication technology is a field that can create various high added values in the future.
We will achieve in-house automation at low cost based on Zigbee wireless communication technology, which is emerging as a new communication technology in the field of digital TV and USN equipped with recording media.
In the case of in-house automation, the existing product installed a separate equipment to inform the situation, and thus could identify the in-house situation. However, this has the expense of having to purchase the equipment separately, and the trouble of checking the equipment in order to understand the trouble and situation of the installation. Also, there was not enough storage space to record the situation at home, so there was no way to check the previous situation later.
While watching TV using the digital TV located in the middle of the living room as the largest screen in the living room, PIP function shows part of the current situation and is also synchronized to the Zigbee Mobile Console used as a remote controller. This situation makes it possible to record and store on a recording medium embedded in a digital TV. In absence, it is desirable to inform the user about the situation caused by the mobile phone, etc. input in advance. When watching an existing analog TV using a set-top box, it is desirable to provide a Zigbee Module that can be connected to the outside.
Since the Zigbee wireless communication module is already installed when purchasing a digital TV, there is no need to install a separate device, and the Zigbee Mobile Console, which is provided as a remote control, can easily operate digital TV and set up home automation using a touch screen. By recording and storing all the events occurring in the house on the recording media embedded in the digital TV, it is possible to check all the events occurring when the house is emptied later by checking them again at any time.
Zigbee wireless communication module is installed in the digital TV which is the automation base of home.
The mounted Zigbee wireless communication module is preferably mounted as a component in a digital TV chip or mounted inside the digital TV as a Zigbee wireless communication module or connected outside the digital TV.
When connected from outside the digital TV, the USB method is preferred as the connection method.
The Zigbee wireless communication module mounted on the digital TV outputs the digital broadcasting screen on the digital TV screen in case of the existing broadcasting control signal according to the communication unit communicating with the Zigbee Mobile Console and the sensor nodes, the controller for receiving and processing the event, and the signal of the controller. It consists of a recording medium and an output section for outputting to a PIP screen.
In the event of an indoor event, the Zigbee wireless communication module in the digital TV preferably includes a transmission system for transmitting a message to a pre-registered mobile terminal, and stores all events on a recording medium of the digital TV.
The Zigbee wireless communication module in the digital TV enters a rest state when the TV is turned off. From this time, the Zigbee Mobile Console monitors the home automation.
Zigbee Mobile Console activates digital TV when home events occur, and the Zigbee wireless communication module wakes up from the break.
Zigbee Mobile Console can control digital TV screen by input unit that can be input by communication unit and touch screen and communication unit that can communicate with Zigbee wireless communication module and sensor nodes installed in digital TV. It is composed of a control unit and an output unit for receiving the event according to the control and communication output to the screen.
Zigbee Mobile Console performs the functions of the existing TV remote control and displays the events according to the automation setup and automation in the home.
Zigbee Mobile Console operates as a touch screen and communicates with Zigbee wireless communication module and sensor nodes installed in digital TV.
Zigbee Mobile Console can automate on-premises automation when digital TV is inoperable.
Zigbee Mobile Console is recommended to be integrated with existing PDA.
Sensor nodes are located at the shortest time that various events can occur and immediately send an event when a specific event is detected.
The home environment where sensor nodes are installed can be additionally installed as needed, such as fire alarms, security windows, and lights.
