The present invention relates to a reconstructed content providing method and an IPTV service providing apparatus for performing the same. More particularly, the present invention provides a reconstructed content providing method for providing customized broadcast content for each user according to a user's request and performing the same. Recently, as the demand for IPTV increases, many new services based on the technical characteristics of IPTV, which are completely different from the conventional TV systems, have appeared. This is because IPTV transmits broadcast data through an IP network rather than a conventional wired / wireless TV network, and thus has completely different characteristics from those of a conventional TV.
The most important difference is that interactive communication is possible between the TV system and the user terminal. With conventional TV systems the user could only choose to watch it or not.
