Description
The present invention relates to an IPTV system and an IPTV content summary service providing method. More particularly, the present invention relates to an IPTV system and an IPTV content summary service providing method.
Conventional analog broadcasting is a one-way broadcasting in which content produced by a broadcaster is transmitted through a terrestrial wave, a cable, a satellite, and the like, and a television (hereinafter, referred to as a television) receives and plays the transmitted content.
Recently, with the construction of digital broadcasting, there is a demand for providing a wider variety of services and two-way broadcasting than conventional analog broadcasting. In response to these demands, IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) systems have been developed. Through IPTV system using IP network environment, various services can be provided in real time, and two-way broadcasting is possible.
Meanwhile, the IPTV system may provide a live media broadcast / linear broadcast TV service, a user-demand video (VOD) service, a user-demand audio (AOD) service, and the like.
