Description
The present invention relates to an automated teller machine and a method of operating the same.
In recent years, the five-day week system of most companies has led to the use of financial automation devices such as ATMs and CDs, rather than directly going to banks. Various functions are being implemented and used in financial automation devices to provide unmanned services without consulting. In addition, the installation of financial automation equipment is gradually increasing according to the five-day work week of the bank, and accordingly, the number of financial automation equipment is increasing.
The automated teller machine is provided with a deposit and withdrawal unit, and receives a banknote from the user when there is a transaction deposit or withdraws a banknote of the corresponding amount when a transaction withdrawal request is made from the user. An infrared sensor is provided inside the deposit and withdrawal unit to manage the state of the banknote.
As described above, when the user's hand enters the inside of the shutter opening and closing, the internal infrared sensor determines whether the user's hand enters, and performs the shutter down and the shutter up.
However, since the infrared sensor cannot be detected at a specific angle due to a problem in the installation of the instrument, it is impossible to detect all of the situations inside the cashier. Therefore, when the user deposits and withdraws the bill, there is a problem that an accident may occur due to immaturity of operation.
In addition, when the user withdraws and withdraws transactions, the user has to look inside the deposit and withdrawal unit is inconvenient to check whether or not left.
An object of the present invention is to propose a financial automation device that prevents mechanical accidents and increases user convenience at the time of deposit and withdrawal operations.
According to the present invention, a deposit and withdrawal unit for depositing and withdrawing banknotes, a shutter for opening and closing the deposit and withdrawal unit, a camera for photographing the inside of the deposit and withdrawal unit, a display unit for displaying an image photographed by the camera during a deposit and withdrawal transaction, and the When a foreign matter is detected in the image photographed by the camera after opening the shutter, the controller includes a control unit for controlling the closing of the shutter after displaying the foreign matter detection message and confirming that there is no abnormality from the user.
According to the present invention, a process of photographing the inside of the deposit and withdrawal unit is displayed in real time by opening the shutter of the deposit and withdrawal unit on which the bill is placed, and analyzing the image photographed inside the deposit and withdrawal unit when the user's deposit and withdrawal operation is completed. Detecting whether there is a foreign matter in the cashier, and displaying a foreign matter detection guide message when there is a foreign matter in the deposit and withdrawal unit, and closing the shutter and ending the photographing and display of the deposit and withdrawal unit after receiving confirmation from the user. .
Detecting whether there is a foreign substance in the deposit and withdrawal unit by analyzing the image taken from the inside of the deposit and withdrawal unit, by contrasting the current image inside the current deposit and withdrawal unit with the registered image of the original deposit and withdrawal unit without the foreign matter, Detect different video images from both images.
The present invention has the effect that can prevent accidents due to immaturity of operation during banknote withdrawal. In addition, by displaying the inside of the deposit and withdrawal unit through the display unit, there is an effect of increasing the convenience that the user can easily see the inside of the deposit and withdrawal unit proceeds with the transaction.
Hereinafter, a detailed description of embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description of the reference numerals to the components of the drawings it should be noted that the same reference numerals as possible even if displayed on different drawings.
Hereinafter, the bill includes not only cash bills but also all currency exchange media used as a means of money such as checks, bills, and the like.

In addition, the
In the method of confirming whether the user completes the deposit and withdrawal operation, the foreign matter detection image processing is performed on the image received through the camera and the state of the deposit and withdrawal unit is determined based on the result.
The foreign material detection image processing may be performed by various image processing methods. For example, a different image may be different from both images by contrasting a registered image inside the original deposit and withdrawal unit where no foreign matter is placed and a current image inside the current photographed deposit and withdrawal unit. By extracting only the image to detect the foreign material image inside the deposit and withdrawal unit. The foreign matter in the above is a concept including all of the bills, unidentified objects that can be placed inside the deposit and withdrawal unit.
Therefore, when the user's hand is still inside the deposit and withdrawal unit, the detected image of the user's hand is detected as the foreign matter image.
As a result, when a foreign matter is detected in the image photographed by the camera after the shutter is opened, the controller displays the foreign matter detection message and performs the control of closing the shutter only after confirming that there is no abnormality from the user. If there is a confirmation button input (S37) that there is no abnormality from the user, even if the user's hand is still detected as a foreign object image, even if the user confirms, the shutter is not closed for safety.
By performing the opening and closing of the shutter according to the presence or absence of foreign matter by using the image photographed from the inside of the deposit and withdrawal unit as described above, it is possible to achieve customer safety and failure prevention of the opening and closing means.

If the user requests a deposit and withdrawal, the shutter of the deposit and withdrawal unit is opened according to the deposit and withdrawal mode operation (S31). At this time, the interior may be illuminated using a lamp. Simultaneously with the opening, the inside of the deposit and withdrawal unit is photographed (S32). The captured image is displayed in real time through the display unit (S33).
As the deposit and withdrawal work proceeds, banknotes are accumulated in the deposit and withdrawal unit, and the inside of the deposit and withdrawal unit in which the banknotes are placed is displayed through the display unit as shown in FIG. 4.
The user can easily know the existence of the bill inside the deposit and withdrawal unit by viewing the inside of the deposit and withdrawal unit displayed on the display unit.
When the user puts his / her hand out for the withdrawal, removes the banknote from the deposit or withdrawal unit, or presses the confirmation button after placing the banknote with the withdrawal unit for withdrawal, the automatic teller machine receives the confirmation button after the withdrawal operation is completed (S34). Detects whether there is a foreign substance inside the deposit and withdrawal unit (S35).
The foreign material detection may be detected through an image taken by the camera, for example, by comparing the registered image inside the original deposit and withdrawal unit where no foreign matter is placed and the current image inside the current photographed deposit and withdrawal unit, different from both images. By extracting only the image image, it is possible to detect the foreign matter image inside the deposit and withdrawal unit.
When foreign matter is detected through the captured image, the foreign matter detection warning message is displayed as shown in FIG. 5 (S36). At this time, the point of the detected foreign matter is displayed on the screen (S37). The screen display, as shown in Fig. 5 to display the
The automated teller machine waits for a confirmation button input (S37) that there is no abnormality from the user.
When the user sees the image displayed on the display unit and checks whether there is any foreign matter, and confirms that there is no problem, and presses the confirmation button, the automatic teller machine closes the shutter and ends the recording inside the deposit and withdrawal unit and displays the image within the deposit and withdrawal unit. End (S38).
Thereafter, all other financial transactions are terminated after other financial transaction operations such as checking the deposit and withdrawal transaction history continue.
On the other hand, even if there is a confirmation button input (S37) that there is no abnormality from the user, if the user's hand is still detected as a foreign object image, even if the user confirmation, the shutter is not closed for safety.
In the above description of the present invention, specific embodiments have been described, but various modifications may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of the present invention is not to be determined by the embodiments described above, but will be apparent in the claims as well as equivalent scope.
