Abstract

PURPOSE: A sealant composition for a car tire is provided to maintain fixed viscosity, to prevent phase separation of a mixture even though a tire rotates at a high speed, and to ensure excellent sealing effect and abrasion resistance. CONSTITUTION: A sealant composition for a car tire comprises 20-60 parts by weight of sealing material, 20-40 parts by weight of antifreeze agent, 0.5-8 parts by weight of the adhesive, 10-30 parts by weight of solid portion, and 2-10 parts by weight of deionized water. The sealant composition comprises aqueous latex. The antifreeze agent comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of propylene glycol, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, and butylene glycol.
