Abstract

A printing paper containing a citrus meal pulp is provided to recycle waste generated during the citrus processing procedure and reduce manufacturing price. A printing paper is produced using a mixed pulp containing 5~95 weight% of citrus meal pulp and 5-95 weight% of wood pulp. A method for producing the citrus meal pulp comprises: a step of remove impurities from peel of citrus and washing with water; a step of adding in 2~5 weight% sodium hydroxide solution; a step of removing foreign materials using a centrifuge; and a step of washing and dehydrating.
