Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an instant messenger service in a mobile communication network, and more particularly, to a method and system for providing an instant messenger service to a multi-number subscriber and a wireless communication terminal for the same.
With the development of mobile communication technology and the increase in the number of wireless subscribers, mobile communication services have recently been developed and provided in addition to simple voice calls. As one of these additional services, a 'multi-number' service that can be used for different purposes by receiving two or more telephone numbers in one mobile communication terminal is widely used. An example of a multi-number service provided by a domestic mobile carrier is KTF's Two Number service.
Subscribers who subscribe to this multi-number service can display the phone number (hereinafter referred to as the basic phone number) assigned at the time of the first mobile communication service subscription as the calling party information on the called party's terminal, and additionally assigned additional phone number of the called party Caller information may be displayed on the terminal. In addition, the multi-number service subscriber can selectively receive the incoming call flowing into his terminal. For example, when the incoming call flowing into the terminal is received at its basic telephone number, the terminal of the multi-number service subscriber displays general caller information. On the other hand, if the incoming call to the terminal is an additional phone number, the subscriber's terminal is displayed on the caller's information together with an icon indicating that the incoming call is coming to the additional phone number (or caller information and additional call on the terminal) Number together). The subscriber of the multi-number service receives the call selectively based on the caller information displayed on his terminal.
Meanwhile, a "phone messenger" service is disclosed in which a subscriber can chat with other subscribers based on the telephone number of the wireless communication terminal. When the subscriber enters a phone number of another subscriber and registers as a friend, the phone messenger service transmits a message requesting registration of a friend to another subscriber corresponding to the phone number, and if the other subscriber permits, the status of another subscriber Send the information and the nickname to the subscriber registered friend. Through such a phone messenger, the subscriber can send a chat message to the corresponding contact if he knows only the mobile communication phone number without knowing the English ID of the counterpart.
However, the phone messenger service does not support additional phone numbers of multi-number subscribers. That is, the current mobile communication network and the wireless communication terminal only supports the phone messenger driven by the basic telephone number initially assigned, and does not support the phone messenger based on the additional phone number. As a result, even though the subscriber who has subscribed to the multi-number service receives an additional telephone number, there is a problem in that the subscriber does not receive a phone messenger service based on the additional telephone number.
The present invention has been proposed to solve the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide a method and system for providing an additional phone number based messenger service to a multi-number service subscriber and a wireless communication terminal for the same.
Other objects and advantages of the present invention can be understood by the following description, and will be more clearly understood by the embodiments of the present invention. Also, it will be readily appreciated that the objects and advantages of the present invention may be realized by the means and combinations thereof indicated in the claims.
According to a first aspect of the present invention for achieving the above object, a method for providing an instant messenger service based on a multi-number in a mobile communication system includes: (a) a messenger including a multi-number service identification code from a terminal of a multi-number subscriber; Receiving a login request; (b) querying additional telephone numbers of the multi-number subscribers based on the multi-number service identification codes; (c) extracting a buddy list for additional telephone numbers of the multi-number subscribers; And (d) adding additional telephone number identification information to the extracted buddy list and transmitting it to the terminal of the multi-number subscriber.
According to a second aspect of the present invention for achieving the above object, a method for providing a multi-number instant messenger service of the mobile communication system, (a) the additional phone number of the multi-number subscriber is set as the telephone number of the conversation counterpart; Receiving a chat message; (b) changing an additional telephone number set as a telephone number of a conversation counterpart of the received chat message to a basic telephone number of the multi-number subscriber; And (c) adding additional phone number identification information to the chat message and transmitting the additional phone number identification information to the terminal of the multi-number subscriber.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, an instant messenger device for providing a multi-number instant messenger service in a mobile communication system includes a messenger login including a multi-number service identification code from a terminal of a multi-number subscriber. A login processing unit which receives a request; And a buddy list manager for extracting a buddy list for the additional phone number of the multi-number subscriber according to the multi-number service identification code and adding additional phone number identification information to the terminal of the multi-number subscriber. do.
As described above, the present invention has an advantage of providing an instant messenger service based on an additional telephone number in addition to the basic telephone number initially given to a multi-number service subscriber.
The above objects, features and advantages will become more apparent from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, whereby those skilled in the art may easily implement the technical idea of the present invention. There will be. In addition, in describing the present invention, when it is determined that the detailed description of the known technology related to the present invention may unnecessarily obscure the gist of the present invention, the detailed description thereof will be omitted. Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
