Description

Golf Club Head Cover {Head cover for golf club}

The present invention relates to a golf club head cover, and more particularly to a head cover worn on the head portion to prevent damage to the golf club head.

Many golfers use golf club head covers to keep their golf clubs safe. This is because the golf club itself is relatively expensive and its characteristics may change due to the impact.

1 is the most common form of golf club head cover, as disclosed in US Patent Publication No. 2005/0016648 (January 27, 2005). The golf club head cover 1 disclosed herein integrally includes a large space head accommodation portion 2 and a small space shaft accommodation portion 3 extending from the head accommodation portion 2. do. The shaft accommodating part 3 has a slot 5 extending from the point of the opening 4 formed at the end to the head accommodating part 2 side and extending in a "V" shape. And a fastening member 6 for closing the slot 5 is provided. As the fastening part material 6, hooks or zippers are used in addition to the magnets shown, and in some cases, the elastic member may be used without a special member.

Korean Utility Model Registration No. 244759 and Patent Registration No. 751539 also disclose a golf club head cover for the same purpose. The head covers disclosed herein are not structurally identical to the above-described US patent, but are identical in that they have a slot extending from the point of the opening formed at the end of the shaft accommodation portion to the head accommodation portion and extending in the shape of a "V". . Thus, the head of the golf club is accessible to the head receiving portion (2) through the expandable slot.

Golf club head covers exemplified in the above patents are usefully used for safe protection of golf clubs, in particular the head portion. However, this type of golf club head cover has a problem that is not suitable for marking the logo or letters of a specific company on the surface of the product. Embroidery is generally used as the marking method on the golf club head cover, because the golf club head cover 1 of the type described above is a completed product, since it is virtually impossible to perform the embroidery that the needle must penetrate. Although the material of the object has a limitation and the printing in which the ink is easily peeled off is not used well, the printing is not easy to perform while the head covers 1 are finished products.

In reality, when the fabric is prepared for the manufacture of the golf club head cover (1) in the state where the unfolded and unfolded the fabric, machine embroidery for the 'mark' is made. While the preparation is cumbersome and complex, it is suitable for embroidering in large quantities and producing products. However, this method has a lot of problems, such as the failure of the finished product in relation to the position of the embroidery, and in particular not actively respond to the demand for small orders and fast delivery.

In order to solve these problems, the present inventor has proposed a configuration for attaching a ply already performed on one side of the finished product, Patent Registration No. 751539. This patent is effective to solve the above problem. However, this is another way of adding a ply to the already completed head cover, which causes another problem which is very disadvantageous in economics.

The present invention is proposed to solve the problems of the conventional golf club head cover. An object of the present invention is to provide a golf club head cover that can easily perform a specific mark on the surface, even if the appearance as in the conventional golf club head cover. Another object of the present invention is to provide a golf club head cover which is economically very advantageous.

Golf club head cover according to the present invention includes a head receiving portion and the shaft receiving portion integrally, the opening is formed at the end of the shaft receiving portion. The head cover, in particular, includes two cover portions that are detachable and fastened to each other to complete one head cover that can accommodate a golf club head.

More specifically, the head cover of the present invention includes: a first cover portion and a second cover portion of a flexible material which are separately provided and edge contact each other to complete the head accommodation portion and the shaft accommodation portion; And a fastening member provided to allow edge contact between the first cover part and the second cover part. Preferably, either one of the first cover portion and the second cover portion is formed with a slot which extends from the one point of the end opening of the shaft accommodation portion to the head accommodation portion and expands in a “V” shape.

According to the present invention, the golf club head cover may be separated and assembled into two cover parts. Therefore, there is an effect that can easily perform a specific marking by embroidery, printing or other methods on one side of the head cover.

In addition, the cover portion in which the marking is performed, together with the other cover portion, completes one head cover. Therefore, it is of course economical as compared to the conventional golf club head cover to which a ply is added regardless of completing the head cover.

Features and effects of the present invention described above or not will become more apparent through the embodiments described below with reference to the drawings.

Referring to Figure 2, the golf club head cover of the present invention is denoted by 10. The golf club head cover 10 includes a hollow head accommodating part 11 and a shaft accommodating part 12 integrally, and an opening 13 is formed at the end of the shaft accommodating part 12. This is no different from a normal golf club head cover. The shaft accommodating part 12 is naturally formed narrower than the head accommodating part 11, and the shaft S of the golf club protrudes from the end opening 13 of the shaft accommodating part 12 when the golf club head is accommodated. do.

The golf club head cover 10 is characterized in that the first cover portion 14 and the second cover of a flexible material which is provided separately and the edge contact each other to complete the head receiving portion 11 and the shaft receiving portion 12 A part 15 and a fastening member 16 provided to allow the first cover part 14 and the second cover part 15 to be in corner contact with each other. Even with the fastening member 16, the opening 13 at the end of the shaft receiving portion 12 is not closed by contact. In the figure, reference numeral 17 is a zipper handle and reference numeral 20 is an arbitrarily marked mark.

3 to 5, the first cover part 14 and the second cover part 15 may be separated from each other. That is, it can be seen that the first cover portion 14 and the second cover portion 15 are separately provided and edge contact each other to complete the head receiving portion 11 and the shaft receiving portion 12. At this time, it can be seen that the opening 13 is excluded from the edge contact.

The fastening member 16 is illustrated as a zipper sewn along both edges of the first cover part 14 and the second cover part 15, but a member such as a hook or a magnet may be used. In the case where the fastening member 16 is a zipper, if the handle portion 17 is shaken, the surface of the shaft S may be damaged or there may be a partially unwanted opening.

Thus, means 18a and 18b capable of fixing the handle portion 17 are provided in the opening 13 portion. The fixing means 18a and 18b are illustrated as fasteners fixed to correspond to the first cover portion 14 and the second cover portion 15, but may be variously applied.

In the present invention, the first cover portion 14 and the second cover portion 15 may be separated separately from each other. Therefore, it is not necessary to expand the end opening 13 of the shaft accommodating portion 12 in order to put the head portion of the golf club into the head accommodating portion 11. However, it may be cumbersome to operate the fastening member 16 from time to time for the purpose of inserting the head portion into the head accommodation portion 11.

Therefore, in the present invention, the slot 19 extends from the one point of the end opening 13 of the shaft accommodation portion 12 to the head accommodation portion 11, and expands in a "V" shape. Although the slot 19 is illustrated as being formed in the first cover part 14, it may be selectively formed among the first cover part 14 and the second cover part 15. On the other hand, the slot 19 is illustrated as being opened and closed by a zipper, but may also be opened and closed by the elasticity of other means or the material itself.

In order to respond quickly to a particular demand, the first cover portion 14 and the second cover portion 15 are separated from each other, and an arbitrary mark (Fig. 1, reference numeral 20) on the surface of the selected second cover portion 15 is separated from each other. ) By the method of embroidery or printing, the first cover portion 14 and the second cover portion 15 are fastened to each other by using the fastening member 16 to accommodate the head of the golf club. The head cover is finished.

The fastener 17, which is the fastening member 16, is fixed by the fixing means 18a and 18b, so that the golf club head cover 10 of the present invention is provided to the user. The user can open and close the slot 19 to put the golf club head in the head receiving portion 11 or to separate from the head receiving portion (11).
