Description
The present invention relates to a video advertisement system and method using a network, and more particularly, a video advertisement system in which a main server and a plurality of client servers are connected through a network to output specific advertisement videos in a batch from a plurality of client servers. Generally, a video advertisement is performed by an advertiser requesting a video advertisement company and providing an unspecified number of advertisement videos through the Internet from a specific server of the video advertisement company.
One way of viewing an advertisement video is to automatically play an advertisement video when a person who wants to view the advertisement video accesses a particular website on a computer. Another way of viewing an advertisement video is for a person who wants to watch the advertisement video to download the advertisement video from a computer. According to an aspect of the present invention, a video advertisement system includes a main server, at least one client server, and an output device connected to each of the client servers.
The main server transmits a predetermined advertisement video list to each of the client servers, and transmits an advertisement video corresponding to the advertisement video list to each of the client servers in response to a request signal of each client server. Each of the client servers transmits a signal to the main server requesting to transmit an advertisement video corresponding to the advertisement video list received from the main server, and receives an advertisement video corresponding to the advertisement video list from the main server. According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a video advertisement method comprising the steps of: (a) automatically turning on power of each client server at a predetermined time; (b) checking the connection status of each output device in each of the client servers and transmitting a result signal to the main server; (c) determining a connection state of each of the client servers and a connection state of each of the output devices by receiving a result signal transmitted from each of the client servers at the main server; (d) authenticating whether the main server is a registered client server for each of the client servers determined to be normal in the step (c); (e) transmitting a predetermined advertisement video list from the main server to each of the client servers authenticated in the step (d); (f) transmitting to the main server a signal requesting each client server that receives the advertisement video list to transmit the advertisement video corresponding to the advertisement video list; (g) transmitting an advertisement video corresponding to the advertisement video list from the main server to each of the client servers in response to a request signal from the client server; (h) receiving the advertisement video from the client server and outputting the advertisement video received through each of the connected output devices; (i) transmitting data on the output time of the advertisement video from each of the client servers to the main server; And (j) storing data on the output time of the advertisement video in the main server.
The video advertising system and method according to the present invention has an advantage that the advertisement video commissioned by the advertiser can be automatically output not only in Korea but also abroad.
In addition, the video advertisement system and method according to the present invention can systematically determine how much time is output from which client server with respect to the advertisement video requested from the advertiser, and may cause a problem in the connection state at the client server or the output device. In this case, it is possible to take immediate action by identifying this on the main server.
