Claims (8)
- 게이팅된 파일럿의 전송을 가능케 하는 제어-홀드(control-hold) 모드로 동작하고, 상기 제어 홀드-모드 동안 순방향 링크를 통해 전송된 데이터 채널을 수신하고, 역방향 링크를 통해 다른 송신들이 전송되지 않고 있다면 상기 역방향 링크를 통해 상기 게이팅된 파일럿을 전송하고, 상기 역방향 링크를 통해 송신이 전송되고 있다면, 상기 역방향 링크를 통해 전체 파일럿을 전송하도록 구성된 적어도 하나의 프로세서; 및상기 적어도 하나의 프로세서에 연결된 메모리를 포함하는, 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 적어도 하나의 프로세서는 상기 데이터 채널을 통해 수신된 패킷들에 대한 확인 응답들을 생성하고, 상기 역방향 링크를 통해 상기 전체 파일럿과 함께 상기 확인 응답들을 전송하고, 상기 역방향 링크를 통해 상기 확인 응답들의 전송을 완료한 후 상기 게이팅된 파일럿의 전송을 다시 시작하도록 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 적어도 하나의 프로세서는 상기 제어-홀드 모드를 벗어나기 위한 시그널링을 수신하거나 상기 역방향 링크를 통해 데이터를 전송할 때, 상기 제어-홀드 모드로부터 전이하도록 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 데이터 채널은 코드 분할 다중 접속(CDMA) 시스템에서 순방향 링크 캐리어를 통해 전송된 순방향 패킷 데이터 채널(F-PDCH)인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 게이팅된 파일럿의 전송을 가능케 하는 제어-홀드 모드로 동작하는 단계;상기 제어 홀드-모드 동안 순방향 링크를 통해 전송된 데이터 채널을 수신하는 단계;역방향 링크를 통해 다른 송신들이 전송되지 않고 있다면 상기 역방향 링크를 통해 상기 게이팅된 파일럿을 전송하는 단계; 및상기 역방향 링크를 통해 송신이 전송되고 있다면 상기 역방향 링크를 통해 전체 파일럿을 전송하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 데이터 채널을 통해 수신된 패킷들에 대한 확인 응답들을 생성하는 단계;상기 역방향 링크를 통해 상기 전체 파일럿과 함께 상기 확인 응답들을 전송하는 단계; 및상기 역방향 링크를 통해 상기 확인 응답의 전송을 완료한 후 상기 게이팅된 파일럿의 전송을 다시 시작하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 게이팅된 파일럿의 전송을 가능케 하는 제어-홀드 모드로 동작하는 수단;상기 제어 홀드-모드 동안 순방향 링크를 통해 전송된 데이터 채널을 수신하는 수단;역방향 링크를 통해 다른 송신들이 전송되지 않고 있다면 상기 역방향 링크를 통해 상기 게이팅된 파일럿을 전송하는 수단; 및상기 역방향 링크를 통해 송신이 전송되고 있다면 상기 역방향 링크를 통해 전체 파일럿을 전송하는 수단을 포함하는, 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 데이터 채널을 통해 수신된 패킷들에 대한 확인 응답들을 생성하는 수단;상기 역방향 링크를 통해 상기 전체 파일럿과 함께 확인 응답들을 전송하는 수단; 및상기 역방향 링크를 통해 상기 확인 응답의 전송을 완료한 후 상기 게이팅된 파일럿의 전송을 다시 시작하는 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
