According to the present invention having the above configuration, the audio signal can be provided only to the user when using the notebook computer. In addition, when using the notebook computer, the user can listen to the provided audio signal at the optimum output level.

Hereinafter, a speaker control apparatus of a notebook computer according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to a preferred embodiment shown in the accompanying drawings.

Referring to FIG. 1, when using the notebook computer 100, an image sensor camera 110 for capturing an image of the front surface of the notebook computer 100 is provided. Preferably, the photographed area is a front portion of a screen on which information is displayed when the notebook computer 100 is used (see FIG. 3A).

An image capture analyzer 120 is provided to capture an image of the captured image information at predetermined time intervals and analyze the current location information of the user in the captured image. At this time, the predetermined time interval is 0.2 ~ 0.25 seconds, the location information refers to the contour position data of the user's face (or ears).

In addition, when the current position information is detected, the image capture analyzer 120 compares the previous position information stored in a buffer (not shown in the figure). In addition, if the current location information and the previous location information are different from each other as a result of the comparison, the image capture analyzer 120 captures that the user's face has moved and transmits the current location information to the controller 130. Unlike this, if the current location information is not detected as a result of the analysis, the image capture analyzer 120 transmits a mute signal to the controller 130 to be described later.

The image capture analyzer 120 may be provided with a Capture & Analyzer Program 122.

In addition, when the current location information is transmitted from the image capture analyzer 120, the controller 130 may adjust the motor signal output direction of the audio signal of the speaker 150 in response to the transmitted current location information. ). That is, the control unit 130 controls the motor unit 140 to an optimal position within a range consisting of 10 steps of 3 ° per one step up and down, left and right, respectively, corresponding to the transmitted position information. Here, the motor unit 140 is composed of a motor for performing a vertical movement and a motor for performing a horizontal movement.

In addition, when the mute signal is transmitted from the image capture analyzer 120, the controller 130 blocks the output of the audio signal of the speaker 150 to be described later.

The speaker 150 is an internal speaker embedded in the notebook computer 100. The speaker 150 converts a voice signal transmitted through an audio amplifier (not shown) into an ultrasonic signal and converts the voice signal into an ultrasonic signal. It is a directional ultrasonic speaker that can be output. Here, the speaker 150 has a voice output of about 1 ~ 2W, the audible distance is preferably 100cm from the speaker 150, the audible width is 40cm * 40cm.

When the mute signal is transmitted from the controller 130, a switching means 152 is provided to switch the audio signal output from the speaker 150 to be muted. As described above, the blocking of the audio signal may interrupt an audio signal output line transmitted to the speaker 150, or may interrupt an audio signal line output by the speaker 150 itself according to the mute signal, or the user may This means that the output level of the audio signal is controlled to the minimum so that the audio signal cannot be heard.

On the other hand, the notebook computer 100 to the user's face (or ear) under the control of the controller 130 only when the current location information is detected by the image capture analysis unit 120 as a result of the captured image analysis. The distance measuring unit 160 for measuring the distance is provided.

In addition, an output level adjusting unit 170 is provided to adjust an audio signal level output from the speaker 150 based on the measured distance value.

Hereinafter, a speaker control method of a notebook computer according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention having the above configuration will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 2 to 4.

First, referring to FIG. 2, when the notebook computer 100 starts to be driven, the image sensor camera 110 captures an image of the front surface of the notebook computer 100 (S10). For example, FIG. 3A is an exemplary diagram in which an image of the front surface of the notebook computer 100 is photographed by the image sensor camera 110. Referring to FIG. 3A, the image sensor camera 110 mounted on the notebook computer 100 continuously photographs the image A of the front surface of the notebook computer 100 including the user's face.

In addition, the image sensor camera 110 transmits the captured image information to the image capture analyzer 120.

Then, the image capture analyzer 120 captures the image information continuously transmitted at predetermined time intervals (S20). At this time, the predetermined time interval is 0.2 ~ 0.25 seconds, the image capture analysis unit 120 is preferably provided with an image & analysis program.

In addition, the image capture analyzer 120 analyzes the captured image, and temporarily stores the current location information in a buffer (not shown) when the current location information of the user is detected for the first time as a result of the analysis.

At the same time, the image capture analyzer 120 transmits the current location information to the controller 130.

Then, the controller 130 adjusts the direction of the speaker 150 by controlling the motor unit 140 according to the transmitted current position information. In this case, the control unit 130 adjusts the motor unit 140 to an optimum position within a range consisting of 10 steps of 3 ° per one step up and down, left and right, respectively, in response to the transmitted current position information. .

Subsequently, the image capture analyzer 120 performs image capture every predetermined time (that is, 0.2 to 0.25 seconds).

In addition, the image capture analysis unit 120 analyzes the captured image, and when the current location information of the user is detected as a result of the analysis, the current location information and previous location information temporarily stored in a buffer (not shown). Are compared (S30 to S50).

In this case, the position information refers to position data of the face (or ear) contour of the user.

In step 50, if the current position information and the previous position information are different from each other, the current position information is temporarily stored in the buffer and transferred to the controller 130. That is, the image capture analyzer 120 determines that the face contour position data of the user is changed (ie, motion capture) as the current position information and the previous position information are different, and the current position information of the user is determined. The buffer is temporarily stored in the buffer and transferred to the controller 130.

Based on the transmitted current position information, the controller 130 adjusts the motor unit 140 to direct the audio signal output direction of the speaker 150 toward the transmitted current position information (S60).

For example, FIG. 3B is an exemplary diagram in which an audio signal output direction of the speaker 150 is adjusted according to the changed face of the user. Referring to FIG. 3B, first, the controller 130 analyzes the previously captured image B and temporarily stores the audio signal output direction C of the speaker 150 according to the previous position information temporarily stored in the buffer. The motor unit 140 is controlled. Next, when the current location information analyzed in the captured current image (B ') is different from the previous location information, the controller 130 receives the current location information and the audio of the speaker 150 according to the current location information. The motor unit 140 is controlled to adjust the signal output direction to an optimal position C '.

On the contrary, if the current position information and the previous position information are the same as the comparison result at step 50, the controller 130 controls the motor unit 140 to maintain the audio signal output direction of the current speaker 150. Control (S52).

On the other hand, in the 40th step, if the current position information is not detected as a result of the analysis, the image capture analyzer 120 transmits a mute signal to the controller 130.

Then, the controller 130 controls the switching means 152 to block the audio signal output from the speaker 150 in accordance with the transmitted mute signal (S42).

Meanwhile, in addition to controlling the direction of the speaker 150 as described above, the output level of the speaker 150 may be adjusted according to the distance between the user and the notebook computer 100.

That is, referring back to FIG. 1, the image sensor camera 110 continuously photographs an image of the front surface of the notebook computer 100.

The image capture analyzer 120 captures an image at predetermined time intervals with respect to the captured image information.

In addition, the image capture analyzer 120 analyzes the captured image to detect current location information of the user.

When the current position of the user is detected as a result of the analysis, the distance measuring unit 160 measures the distance from the notebook computer 100 to the face (or ear) of the user.

The distance measuring unit 160 transmits the measured distance value to the control unit 130.

When the measured distance value is transmitted, the controller 130 transmits the measured distance value to the output level control unit 170.

Then, the output level adjusting unit 170 adjusts the audio signal level output from the speaker 150 to provide an optimal audio signal level to the user based on the transmitted distance value. For example, FIG. 4 shows an output level table of the speaker 150 according to the distance between the notebook computer 100 and the user. Referring to FIG. 4, when the distance measured by the distance measuring unit 160 is 60 cm, the output level adjusting unit 170 outputs an audio signal level of 45 dB based on the table. Adjust In addition, when the distance measured by the distance measuring unit 160 is 70cm or 80cm, the output level adjusting unit 170 outputs an audio signal level of 50dB or 55dB based on the table, the speaker 150 Adjust

As described above, the present invention described in the above embodiment has an advantage that the audio sound is provided only to the user without disturbing others in a public place.

The scope of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and many other modifications based on the present invention will be possible to those skilled in the art within the above technical scope.

In addition, other devices, such as a system and a speaker integrated with the present invention will be able to facilitate the user's convenience.

As described above, according to the speaker control apparatus and method of the notebook computer of the present invention, the audio sound is provided only to the user without disturbing others in a public place when using the notebook computer.

In addition, the direction of the speaker is automatically adjusted to the optimal position corresponding to the position of the moving user face (or ear).
