Description

System and method of content search {SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SEARCHING CONTENTS}

The present invention relates to a content retrieval method and system, and more particularly, to a method and system for retrieving content based on location information.

In general, a communication terminal performs various functions by adding various functions in addition to a call function. That is, the current communication terminal provides various convenience functions such as a message transmission / reception function, a wireless Internet function, a phone book management function, a schedule management function, and a navigation function in addition to a call function. In particular, the communication terminal may access a web server and search for various contents.

The communication terminal as described above must specify location information in order to retrieve content based on the current location information. Moreover, since the communication terminal arbitrarily designates the location information according to the user's selection, it is difficult to accurately specify the current location information. For this reason, there is a problem that the communication terminal is not easy to retrieve the content based on the location information.

In order to solve the above problems, a content retrieval method according to the present invention includes a process of transmitting a current location information to a web server by adding a current location information to a header of an HTTP request message when the communication terminal requests a search service, and the web server sends an HTTP request message When receiving, characterized in that it comprises the step of transmitting an HTTP response message including the search results of the content corresponding to the location information to the communication terminal, and the process of displaying the search results when the communication terminal receives the HTTP response message.

In addition, the content search system according to the present invention for solving the above problems, the communication terminal for transmitting the current location information to the header of the HTTP request message when the search service request, and when receiving the HTTP request message, corresponding to the location information And a web server transmitting an HTTP response message including a search result of the content to a communication terminal.

In the above-described content search method and system according to the present invention, when a search service request is made, the communication terminal adds the current location information, which is identified by itself, to the header of the HTTP request message, and thus the user of the communication terminal is located separately. The advantage is that you do not have to specify the information. In addition, since the communication terminal can transmit more accurate current location information, there is an advantage that the user of the communication terminal can easily obtain the desired content. Therefore, there is an advantage that the communication terminal can easily search for content based on the location information.

Hereinafter, with reference to the accompanying drawings will be described in detail an embodiment of the present invention.

In the following description, 'HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol)' refers to a hypertext communication protocol, and means a communication protocol used for exchanging hypertext documents on the Internet. In this case, hypertext refers to a method in which a specific keyword is placed in a document and organic characters are combined and connected to each other, so that different documents may appear as one document and are easy to refer to.

4 is a flowchart illustrating a content search procedure of the communication terminal 110 according to an embodiment of the present invention. 5 is an exemplary diagram illustrating a Schema of an XML document of an HTTP request message header according to an embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 4, the content retrieval procedure of the communication terminal 110 according to the present embodiment starts from the controller 317 detecting a request to execute the retrieval mode in step 411. After that, the controller 317 connects to the web server 120 in step 413. The controller 317 executes the search mode in step 415. In this case, the controller 317 may display a search screen for selecting a classification condition corresponding to the desired content.

Next, when a search service is requested, the control unit 317 detects this in step 417 and determines the current location information in step 419. In this case, the controller 317 may grasp the location information according to the GPS data received through the GPS receiver 313. Thereafter, the controller 317 adds the location information to the header of the HTTP request message as shown in FIG. 5 in step 421. At this time, the header of the HTTP request message includes a location information field indicating location information. The location information field has a field name, eg, "Geo-Location". In addition, the location information field may have a field value indicating coordinate information including latitude and longitude of the location of the communication terminal 110, for example, "lontitude / 2, latitude / 3". The controller 317 transmits an HTTP request message in step 423.

Finally, upon receiving the HTTP response message, the controller 317 detects this in step 425 and displays the search result in step 427. That is, the controller 317 displays the search result included in the HTTP response message through the display unit 321. If a request for terminating the content retrieval procedure occurs after this, the controller 317 detects this in step 429 and ends the content retrieval procedure.

On the other hand, if a request for terminating the content retrieval procedure does not occur and a request for the retrieval service is detected again, the controller 317 repeatedly performs steps 419 to 429 until the termination request occurs to search for various contents. Can be.

6 is a flowchart illustrating a content search procedure of the web server 120 according to an embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 6, the content search procedure of the web server 120 according to the present embodiment starts from the control module 335 connecting to the communication terminal 110 in step 611. After receiving the HTTP request message, the control module 335 detects this in step 613 and extracts location information from the HTTP request message in step 615. That is, the control module 335 may grasp coordinate information including latitude and longitude of the location of the communication terminal 110 from the header of the HTTP request message.

In operation 617, the control module 335 determines whether to search for content based on the location information. For example, the control module 335 may determine whether the HTTP request message includes a request to search for content based on the location information. If it is determined that the content does not need to be searched based on the location information, the control module 335 generally searches for the content in step 619. That is, the control module 335 may search for content regardless of the location information and acquire desired content.

If it is determined that the content should be searched based on the location information, the control module 335 searches for the content based on the location information extracted from the HTTP request message in step 621. In this case, the control module 335 may obtain content corresponding to location information, for example, coordinate information including latitude and longitude of the location of the communication terminal 110 from the contents stored in the server storage 333.

Finally, the control module 335 transmits an HTTP response message including the search result in step 623. That is, the control module 335 adds the search result to the HTTP response message and then transmits the HTTP response message. If a request for terminating the content retrieval procedure occurs, the control module 335 detects this in step 625 and terminates the content retrieval procedure.

On the other hand, if a request for terminating the content retrieval procedure does not occur and the reception of the HTTP request message is detected again, the control module 335 repeatedly performs steps 613 to 625 until the termination request occurs to perform various contents. You can search.

Meanwhile, in the above-described embodiment, the communication terminal 110 receives the GPS data from the GPS satellite to grasp the location information, but is not limited thereto. For example, the communication terminal 110 may receive the cell information from the base station to determine the location information. At this time, the location information field of the HTTP request message header may have a field value indicating cell information of the location of the communication terminal 110, for example, "Cell / 002 02 0003 0002". In addition, the communication terminal 110 may grasp previously stored area information as location information according to coordinate information or cell information including latitude and longitude of the location of the communication terminal 110. For example, the communication terminal 110 may grasp the location information “Seoul” from the coordinate information or the cell information including the latitude and longitude of the location of the communication terminal 110. In this case, the location information field of the HTTP request message header may have a field value indicating local information, for example, "areaname /" Seoul "".

Meanwhile, in the above-described embodiment, the communication terminal 110 discloses a case in which the location information is added to the HTTP request message and transmitted every time the search service is requested, but is not limited thereto. For example, the communication terminal 110 may add and transmit location information to the HTTP request message only when a search service request based on location information is generated from the user.

Meanwhile, the above-described embodiment discloses a case in which the web server 120 acquires content corresponding to location information by searching for contents stored therein, but is not limited thereto. In other words, the web server 120 may obtain content corresponding to the extracted location information by searching for contents stored separately in the external server.
