Abstract

An electronic card with a side wall switch is provided to take a sufficient space for which a label or an advertisement is printed on a card, thereby preventing design from being deteriorated. An electronic card with a side wall switch comprises a cover film of a card upper portion, a printed circuit board of a card center portion, and a backup film of a card base unit. Electronic components are mounted on the printed circuit board. The electronic components are a microcontroller(104), a display device, a lamp, and a battery. An electrode formed by a nickel through hole plating technique is in a side wall(101) of the printed circuit board. A metal wire is fixed on a side wall above the side wall electrode by soldering. A button switch(103) is made by pressing the metal wire by a hand nail.
