Abstract

본 발명은 카드사의 부가 서비스 정보를 제공할 수 있는 정보 표시카드에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 정보 표시카드는 다수의 회로 배선이 형성된 기판과; 상기 기판의 제 1 면에 형성되어 정보를 표시하는 표시장치와; 상기 표시장치에 전원을 공급하는 전원 공급부; 및 상기 기판의 제 2 면에 형성되어 사용자의 정보를 기록되는 마그네틱부를 포함하여 구성된다.
이러한 구성에 의하여 본 발명은 종래의 신용카드와 같은 다양한 종류의 카드에 대한 정보를 표시할 수 있는 표시장치 즉, 전자종이와 같은 플렉서블 디스플레이장치를 이용하여 사용자에게 유익한 카드사의 부가 서비스 정보를 능동적으로 제공할 수 있다.

본 발명은 카드에 관한 것으로, 특히, 카드사의 부가 서비스 정보를 제공할 수 있는 정보 표시카드에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 카드사들은 카드 홍보 또는 서비스 제공을 위하여 이벤트 실시 및 서비스 이용에 따른 다양한 혜택을 수시로 제공하고 있으며, 레저, 오락, 음식, 문화 등 각종 가맹점들과 연계한 부가 서비스들을 제공하고 있다.
이러한 부가 서비스들을 활용하기 위해서는 해당 카드사의 홈페이지에 접속하거나 홍보물에 정보를 인식하고 이를 기억해야하며, 여러개의 카드를 소지한 고객들은 각 카드에 다양한 정보들을 기억하는데 한계가 있다.
아울러 이러한 서비스를 효율적으로 활용하지 못함으로써 고객에게는 부가 서비스에 대한 기회를 상실할 수 있고, 카드사는 마케팅의 일환으로 실시하는 부가 서비스 정책이 활성화되지 못하는 문제점이 발생하게 된다.
따라서 상기와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여, 본 발명은 카드사의 부가 서비스 정보를 제공할 수 있는 정보 표시카드를 제공하는데 있다.
상기와 같은 기술적 과제를 달성하기 위한 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 정보 표시카드는 다수의 회로 배선이 형성된 기판과; 상기 기판의 제 1 면에 형성되어 정보를 표시하는 표시장치와; 상기 표시장치에 전원을 공급하는 전원 공급부; 및 상기 기판의 제 2 면에 형성되어 사용자의 정보를 기록되는 마그네틱 스트라이프를 포함하여 구성된다.
이하, 첨부된 도면 및 실시 예를 통해 본 발명의 실시 예를 구체적으로 살펴 보면 다음과 같다.
도 1은 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 정보 표시 카드를 나타낸 도면이고 도 2는 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 기판을 나타낸 도면이다.
도 1 및 도 2를 참조하면, 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 정보 표시카드는 다수의 회로 배선(미도시)이 형성된 기판(102)과, 기판(102)의 제 1 면에 형성되어 정보를 표시하는 표시장치(112)와, 표시장치(104)에 전원을 공급하는 전원 공급부(116)와, 기판(102)의 제 2 면에 형성되어 사용자의 정보를 기록되는 마그네틱 스트라이프(Magnatic Stripe)(118) 및 기판(102)의 제 1 및 제 2 면을 보호할 수 있는 제 1 및 제 2 보호 필름을 포함하여 구성된다.
기판(102)은 카드의 외형을 유지할 수 있도록 형성된다. 여기서, 기판(102)은 전기적인 신호를 인가할 수 있는 다수의 회로 배선을 포함한다. 이때, 기판(102)은 연성 회로기판(Flecible Printed Circuits Board)으로 형성한다.
표시장치(112)는 기판의 제 2 면에 형성된 마그네틱 스트라이프(118)와 중첩되지 않도록 기판의 제 1 면에 형성된다. 이때, 표시장치(112)는 표시부(114), 통신부(114) 및 제어부(120)를 포함하여 구성된다.
제어부(120)는 기판(102) 상에 다수의 회로 배선과 연결되도록 형성된다. 여기서 제어부(120)는 전원 공급부(116), 통신부(114) 및 표시부(104)를 제어할 수 있도록 형성한다. 이때, 제어부(120)는 전원 공급부(116)에서 전원을 공급받아 통신부(114)로부터 전달받은 정보를 표시부(104)에서 표시할 수 있도록 처리하여 공급한다.
표시부(104)는 기판(102)의 제 1 면에 부착되어 정보를 표시하도록 형성된다. 이때, 표시부(104)는 플렉서블 디스플레이 장치 또는 전자종이(e-paper)로 유리 대신 얇은 플라스틱이나 필름 등을 사용하여 마음대로 구부리고 휠 수 있는 차세대 화면 표시 장치이다. 이때, 플렉서블 디스플레이 장치 또는 전자종이는 MEP(Micro Encapsulated Electrophoretic) Film, EPD(Electrophoretic Display) Film, FOLED(Flexible Organic Light Emitting Diode) 등으로 형성된다.
여기서, 전자종이는 전원을 꺼도 화면이 사라지지 않고 화면을 바꾸고자 할 때만 전원을 가하는 것으로 정전하가 충전된 반구형 트위스트볼을 이용하는 방법과, 전기영동법과 마이크로캡슐을 이용한 전기영동 디스플레이, 콜레스테롤 액정을 이용한 디스플레이 등이 있다.
또한, 표시부(104)에 표시되는 부가 서비스 정보는 카드이용시 해당 카드사에서 제공되는 정보로 가맹점별 무이자 할부, 할인혜택, 마일리지 등이 있다.
통신부(114)는 부가서비스 정보를 수신할 수 있도록 형성된다. 여기서, 통신부(114)는 휴대폰 및 카드사에서 제공되는 외부단말기를 통해 수신된 정보를 제어부(120)에 공급한다. 이때, 통신부(114)는 적외선(IrDA), 블루투스(Bluetooth), 지그비(Zigbee)등과 같은 휴대폰과 연결될 수 있는 통신포트 중 어느 하나로 형성된다. 또한, 통신부(114)는 기판(102)상에 안테나(미도시)를 포함하여 형성될 수 있다.
전원 공급부(116)는 표시장치(112), 통신부(114) 및 제어부(120)에 전원을 공급할 수 있도록 형성된다. 여기서, 전원 공급부(116)는 태양전지(미도시) 및 태 양전지판(106)을 포함하여 형성된다. 이때, 전원 공급부(116)는 단말기(미도시)에 마그네틱 스트라이프(118)접촉시 전원을 공급받을 수 있도록 형성될 수 있다.
태양전지판(106)은 기판(102) 상에 부착되어 태양전지(미도시)와 전기적으로 접속될 수 있도록 형성된다. 여기서, 태양전지판(106)은 태양의 빛에너지를 전기 에너지로 변환할 수 있도록 형성한다.
태양전지(미도시)는 태양전지판(106)에서 변환된 전기 에너지를 저장할 수 있도록 형성된다. 여기서, 태양전지(미도시)는 표시장치(112)에 정보 입력시 축적되어 있는 전기에너지인 전원을 제어부(120), 통신부(114), 표시부(112)에 공급한다.
마그네틱 스트라이프(118)는 기판의 제 2 면에 형성된다. 이때, 마그네틱 스트라이프(118)는 사용자의 정보를 기록할 수 있도록 형성된다. 여기서, 사용자의 정보는 사용자의 카드 번호 및 유효 기간, 서비스 코드, 사용자 번호 확인값(PIN Verification Value; PVV), 개인 확인 숫자(Personal Identification Number; PIN), 카드 확인값(Card Verification Value; CVV) 등의 정보이다.
제 1 보호필름(108)은 기판(102)과 기판(102)의 제 1 면에 형성된 장치들을 보호하도록 형성된다. 여기서 제 1 보호필름(108)은 기판(102)의 제 1 면에 형성된 장치들을 보호하고 표시부에 표시된 정보를 확인할 수 있도록 형성한다.
제 2 보호필름(110)은 마그네틱 스트라이프 및 기판(102)의 제 2 면을 보호하도록 형성된다.
이러한 정보 표시카드는 카드에 대한 정보를 표시할 수 있는 표시장치 즉, 전자종이와 같은 플렉서블 디스플레이를 이용하여 사용자에게 유익한 카드사의 부가 서비스 정보를 능동적으로 제공할 수 있다.
한편, 이상에서 설명한 본 발명은 상술한 실시 예 및 첨부된 도면에 한정되는 것이 아니고, 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 벗어나지 않는 범위내에서 여러 가지 치환, 변형 및 변경이 가능하다는 것이 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 종래의 지식을 가진 자에게 있어 명백할 것이다.
상기와 같은 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 정보 표시카드는 종래의 신용카드와 같은 다양한 종류의 카드에 대한 정보를 표시할 수 있는 표시장치 즉, 전자종이와 같은 플렉서블 디스플레이장치를 이용하여 사용자에게 유익한 카드사의 부가 서비스 정보를 능동적으로 제공할 수 있다.

Claims (9)

  1. 다수의 회로 배선이 형성된 기판과;
    상기 기판의 제 1 면에 형성되어 정보를 표시하는 표시장치와;
    상기 표시장치에 전원을 공급하는 전원 공급부; 및
    상기 기판의 제 2 면에 형성되어 사용자의 정보를 기록되는 마그네틱 스트라이프를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 표시장치.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 표시장치는,
    상기 정보를 수신하는 통신부와;
    상기 통신부에 수신된 상기 정보를 처리하는 제어부와;
    상기 기판에 부착되어 상기 제어부에서 처리된 정보를 표시하는 표시부를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 표시장치.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서,
    상기 표시부는 휘어질 수 있는 플렉서블 디스플레이 또는 전자종이인 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 표시카드.
  4. 제 3 항에 있어서,
    상기 전자종이는 MEP Film, EPD Film 중 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 표시카드.
  5. 제 3 항에 있어서,
    상기 플렉서블 디스플레이는 FOLED인 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 표시카드.
  6. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 기판은 연성 회로기판인 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 표시카드.
  7. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 전원 공급부는,
    태양열로부터 복사열을 집열하여 소정의 전하를 생성하는 집열판과;
    상기 집열판으로부터 발생되는 전하를 축적하여 소정 전압을 발생시키는 축전지를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 표시카드.
  8. 제 2 항에 있어서,
    상기 통신부는 적외선, 블루투스, 지그비 중 어느 하나로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 표시카드.
  9. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 정보는 카드사의 부가서비스 정보인 것을 특징으로 하는 정보 표시카드.
