The present invention relates to a polarizing plate protective film of a liquid crystal display device.

Recently, the liquid crystal display (LCD) has been improved in quality due to the improvement of liquid crystal materials and the development of micro pixel processing technology along with features such as light weight, thinness and low power consumption, and its application range is gradually widened. The trend is losing. The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel, a driving circuit unit for driving the liquid crystal panel, a backlight unit for supplying a light beam to the liquid crystal panel, and a polarizing plate.

Hereinafter, each component of the polarizing plate protective film of the conventional liquid crystal display device and the disadvantages of these components will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

1 is a perspective view illustrating a structure of a liquid crystal display device according to the prior art, and FIG. 2 is a view illustrating a state in which a polarizing plate protective film is attached to the liquid crystal display device according to the prior art.

As shown in FIG. 1, a conventional liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel 10 including liquid crystal cells arranged in a matrix between a lower glass substrate and an upper glass substrate, and mounted on one surface of the liquid crystal panel 10. The backlight unit 20 and the upper and lower glass substrates are positioned at the upper and lower parts of the polarizing plate 30 to convert the polarization characteristics of the light beam of the backlight unit 20.

In the polarizing plate 30 attached to the upper and lower parts of the liquid crystal panel 10 described above, a polarizing plate protective film 40 for protecting from scratches and damage is attached to each of the upper and lower surfaces of the polarizing plate 30. In this case, an adhesive layer is present on the surface of the polarizing plate 30 facing the liquid crystal panel 10 and attached to the liquid crystal panel 10.

In order to attach the polarizing plate 30 to the upper and lower surfaces of the liquid crystal panel 10, the polarizing plate protective film 40 on the surface where the polarizing plate 30 adhesive layer exists is first removed and then attached to the upper and lower surfaces of the liquid crystal panel 10. do.

However, as shown in FIG. 2, the conventional polarizing plate protective film 40 is easily detachable and has one end of an adhesive portion 41 formed therein, which is combined with the polarizing plate protective film 40, and the other end is exposed to the outside of the polarizing plate protective film. The detachable tape 42 is formed by attaching the polarizing plate protective film 40 to the polarizing plate when the adhesive force between the polarizing plate 30 and the polarizing plate protective film 40 is better than the adhesive part 41 of the detachable tape 42. There is a problem that is difficult to remove the protective film 40. That is, when the adhesive force between the adhesive part 41 formed on one end of the detachable tape 42 and the polarizing plate protective film 40 is not significantly greater than the adhesive force between the polarizing plate protective film 40 and the polarizing plate 30, the detachable tape 42 is used. It is difficult to remove the polarizing plate protective film, which greatly depends on the surface state of the polarizing plate protective film 40.

In addition, the detachable tape 42 may be attached directly by the operator's hand, so the attachment position may not be accurate, resulting in bubble generation and foreign matters.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a polarizing plate protective film of a liquid crystal display device that overcomes the disadvantages of the conventional detachment method of a polarizing plate protective film.

The present invention provides a polarizing plate protective film in a liquid crystal display device including a polarizing plate, which is disposed on the surface of the polarizing plate and adhered to the polarizing plate, and has a detachable portion formed at one end thereof.
