The present invention relates to a mobile terminal, and in particular, the wire structure is not bent to overlap the plurality of stages, but is provided by a spring structure that is bent in only one end, while providing sufficient force for semi-automatic opening and closing of the cover of the mobile terminal while minimizing its thickness. The present invention relates to a spring for a slide type portable terminal and a portable terminal using the same, such that the thickness of the portable terminal can be substantially increased according to the spring installation.
In general, a communication terminal may be classified into a wired or wireless communication terminal, and a wired communication terminal is an office or home telephone, and a wireless communication terminal is a PCS, a cellular phone, or a PDA. Wireless communication terminals are usually called mobile communication terminals or portable terminals because they provide portability and mobility to users.
Due to the development of the technology, such a portable terminal provides a user with text information, image information, a game, etc., beyond the step of delivering only simple audio information. The type of the mobile terminal is largely a bar type and a flip type with a cover. It can be divided into flip type and folder type.
The folding type mobile terminal has a structure that can open and close the folder when calling or carrying, so it can solve the problem that the length of the bar type or flip type portable terminal is long, but the hinge portion connecting the upper folder and the lower folder is easily damaged. There is a problem.
In order to solve the problem of such a folding type portable terminal, a sliding type portable terminal in which a folder is moved up and down in a semi-automatic manner in a sliding type has been proposed. Sliding portable terminals open and close the cover semi-automatically with respect to the portable terminal main body by using the elastic force of the torsion spring (most).
1 is a perspective view showing a hinge module for a portable terminal using a torsion spring of the prior art.
Referring to Figure 1, the hinge module for a conventional portable terminal is configured to play a role of opening and closing the cover semi-automatically sliding with respect to the main body of the portable terminal.
Accordingly, when the user pushes the cover of the mobile terminal upward, the cover is manually moved to a predetermined position with respect to the main body, and when the user passes the predetermined position, the cover is automatically moved by the elastic restoring force accumulated in the
However, the
In addition, the
On the other hand, in the case of the compression spring or the tension spring that is often installed to avoid the

The
In such a configuration, the cover is closed in a distance not exceeding the transition point as a transition point when the distance between the
The
The
Hereinafter, the operation of the hinge module according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 6 to 8.
First, Figure 6 shows the state of the hinge module in the initial state that the cover is closed with respect to the main body of the mobile terminal. In this state, the
Thereafter, when a force is applied to the cover in an open direction, the
FIG. 7 illustrates a case in which the distance between the
9 is an exploded perspective view of a hinge module including a spring according to a modified embodiment of the present invention, Figure 10 is an exploded perspective view for explaining a fault spring according to a modified embodiment of the present invention.
As shown, the
The
On both sides of the
As described above, according to a configuration in which the connecting
11 to 13 are reference views for explaining the spring operation of the present invention according to the opening and closing of the cover in the modified embodiment.
11 to 13 illustrate a state in which a cover is closed, a state passing through a transition point while being opened, and a state in which the cover is closed with respect to the main body of the mobile terminal, respectively.
Such a deformed form of the
Although the preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention may use various changes, modifications, and equivalents. It is clear that the present invention can be applied in the same manner by appropriately modifying the above embodiments. Accordingly, the above description does not limit the scope of the invention as defined by the limitations of the following claims.
As described above, the spring for the slide-type portable terminal and the portable terminal using the same according to the present invention are minimized to increase the thickness of the portable terminal by a single-layer spring structure formed by bending only one layer, rather than being rolled into multiple layers. Can be reduced.
In addition, the present invention absorbs the vibration and shock caused by the spring recoil when the connector is made of a separate material is made very smooth opening and closing operation of the cover.
