Abstract

A power supply connector for a vehicle is provided to couple a male grounding terminal with a permanent magnet when a male connector is coupled to a female connector, so that the superior connection of the male and female positive terminals is achieved. A female connector(10) includes a body(11) made of an insulating substance. The body has an insertion groove(12) with an opened one side. A female grounding terminal(13) made of a magnetic substance such as steel is provided on the inner wall of the body. A female positive terminal(14) is provided at a closed part of the body. A permanent magnet(15) is provided around the body. A male connector(20) includes a body(21). A male grounding terminal(25) is provided around the body. The body is formed at one side surface thereof with a male positive terminal(26). The body of the male connector is inserted into the insertion groove so that the male grounding terminal is connected to the female grounding terminal by an attractive force of the permanent magnet.
