도 3은 암 커넥터의 사시도.3 is a perspective view of a female connector;

도 4는 수 커넥터의 사시도.4 is a perspective view of a male connector;

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a female connector used in an electric vehicle such as a hybrid vehicle and a male connector adapted to be connected to such a female connector, and more particularly, a so-called wire-to-wire connecting a wire with a high current flow. The present invention relates to a wire connector which improves the waterproof function of the connector and simplifies the coupling structure.

In general, electric vehicles have high voltages and currents that can cause electric shocks, and thus, there are many differences from ordinary electric connectors, such as a shield that encloses a shielding material on a wire and a shield that surrounds the wire.

In particular, when connecting the wire and the wire does not block the coupling portion, the electromagnetic wave generated from the wire is leaking, causing interference with nearby devices, there is a risk of malfunction, and there is a risk of failure.

In order to prevent such a risk, a shield shell is generally provided in a connector to block the coupling portion. The shield shell is provided at each terminal coupled to each other, and the shield shells are fixed to each other when male and female coupling between the shield shells by irregularities formed on the surface of the shield shell to block electromagnetic waves.

The connector having the configuration as described above should be waterproof. In the related art, a rubber seal is used at the outside of the shield shell to prevent water from entering the inside of the housing. In addition, in order to maintain the bonding force between the shield shells to maintain the coupling between the shield shell using a separate elastic member.

However, when the housing is coupled between the water can penetrate the coupling portion, there is a problem that the device is broken by electric shock or short circuit at high current. In other words, the coupling between the shield shell that blocks the periphery of the terminal when the connection between the terminals is not completely waterproof, there was a problem that water can seep.

In addition, there is a problem in that the structure is complicated and the cost is increased by the addition of a separate elastic member.

The present invention provides a shield shell connector assembly to provide a waterproof member of the conductive rubber material between the coupling between the shield shell to solve the above problems to improve the waterproof function and to make the coupling between the shield shell even in a simple structure. For the purpose of

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the embodiment of the present invention having the configuration as described above.

In FIG. 1, the first connector 100 and the second connector 200 are provided for coupling between the terminals to which the wires are connected, and each of the housings 10 includes a receiving space for accommodating the ends of the shielded wires. 20 and terminals 12 and 22 which are fastened to ends of shielded wires in the receiving spaces of the housings 10 and 20, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, and the housing as shown in FIG. 1. The first shield shell 11 and the second shield shell 21 to shield the shielding wire are included, respectively.

In FIG. 3, the housing of the first connector 100 is a female housing, and in FIG. 4, the housing of the second connector 200 is a male housing. Therefore, the housing of the second connector 200 is inserted into the housing of the first connector 100 is connected by the male and female coupling as shown in FIG.

In addition, the terminals 12 and 22 are accommodated in the housing of the first connector 100 and the housing of the second connector 200, respectively, so that the terminals may be coupled to each other by coupling between the connectors. do.

Here, the shielding is also made between the shield shell provided in each connector after shielding the electromagnetic wave, etc. that may occur during the coupling between the terminals.

The shield shells 11 and 21 may be coupled to each other in various ways. For example, the shield shells of one side may be inserted into the shield shells of the other side and may have a male and female coupling. In addition, one end of the shield shell is bent to the inside of the shield shell, the other end is bent to the outside, it may be coupled by contact between the mutually refracted portion.

In this embodiment, a method of refracting the end of the shield shell is used. The bonding surface formed between the refracted portions is generally in close contact with each other if the bonding surface is uniform, but may be waterproof well, otherwise it may not be waterproof.

Therefore, in the present invention, to provide a waterproof coupling member 30 as shown in Figure 1 between the coupling surface to waterproof. The waterproof coupling member 30 of this embodiment used a conductive rubber. Therefore, electricity can pass, and the rubber is used so that there is no gap between the mating surfaces by the deformation of the rubber. Therefore, according to the embodiment of the present invention, since there is no gap between the mating surfaces, there is no space to seep the water and waterproof.

Meanwhile, a groove (not shown) may be formed in the housing of the connector to prevent the waterproof coupling member 30 from being lost due to repeated coupling and release between the connectors 100 and 200. It is also preferable to give. In particular, the outer diameter of the groove should be smaller than the outer diameter of the waterproof coupling member. Therefore, the waterproof coupling member is fixed to the groove by the elastic force of the waterproof coupling member which is the conductive rubber, so as not to be separated.

Meanwhile, various methods may be used to maintain the bonding force between common shield shells. In the embodiment of the present invention using the waterproof coupling member to simplify the coupling structure between the shield shell.

The waterproof coupling member 30 is positioned between opposite ends that are coupling surfaces of the shield shells 11 and 21 to maintain the coupling between the shield shells. The coupling between the shield shells is made by the waterproof coupling member 30 of the conductive rubber material, even if there is no separate elastic member, and the waterproof coupling member has an elastic force due to the characteristics of the material, even if a separate elastic member is not used. Cohesion can be maintained.

Therefore, the structure of the present embodiment is further simplified by using the waterproof coupling member that maintains the bonding force between the shield shells and the waterproof function than the conventional additional elastic member additionally. In addition, as the structure is simplified, the use of materials is reduced, thereby reducing costs.

The above embodiments do not define the scope of the present invention, and the technical scope of the present invention is defined by the claims.

According to the present invention, the waterproof coupling member is positioned on the coupling surface between the shield shells as described above, and the waterproof coupling member is closely adhered to the coupling surface between the shield shells by deformation of the waterproof coupling member so that the coupling surface between the shield shells has no gap. Therefore, the problem of water leakage that may occur on the coupling surface between the shield shell was solved.

In addition, even though there is no separate elastic member by the waterproof coupling member, the coupling between the shield shells can be maintained, thereby simplifying the structure of the connector and having the advantages of low manufacturing cost and low manufacturing cost.
