Abstract

A stand type indoor unit with a multiple filter receiving frame in an air conditioner is provided to insert various filters according to user's selection in the multiple filter receiving frame and exchange or clean the filters simply without separating a front lower panel of the indoor unit. A stand type indoor unit of an air conditioner includes a multiple filter receiving frame(10) having a pair of fixing plates(5) disposed with a predetermined interval with each other and formed with two or more insertion slots(3) on facing inner surfaces at corresponding positions, and at least one or more interval keeping element such as a bottom plate(7) for keeping the predetermined interval between the fixing plates. The frame is disposed at a rear side of a suction grill(20) detachably and at least one or more filters(50) are inserted into the insertion slots for traversing a path, wherein the filters are in the plate shape with predetermined height and thickness.
