Abstract

A mobile terminal and a method for reversing the view thereof are provided to increase the definition of the LCD screen by reversing the complementary color contrast between the background color and text/image color of the LCD screen as a user can scarcely see the LCD screen in sunlight or at a very bright place. A mobile terminal comprises a key input part(100), a display part(120), and a control part(110). The key input part, as a user interface, has a plurality of number keys and function keys, and outputs key signals to the control part. The display part expresses the background of the screen and an image displayed on the background. If the background and the image are expressed, the control part grasps the extent of an external illuminance, and contrasts the color of the background and the color of the image when the external illuminance exceeds a preset value. In this case, the control part increases the definition of the LCD screen by contrasting the background and the image colors in complementary colors and reversing them.
