Abstract

A device for measuring a water level of fresh water for a paddy field is provided to measure changes of the water level for the fresh water of the paddy field accurately by decreasing a water level measuring error caused by external circumstance factors. A device for measuring a water level of fresh water for a paddy field comprises a body(1), a water level sensor, a data logger, and a battery. The body forms a fresh water level measuring space which is blocked from an outside. The body is formed in the type of a cylindrical pipe whose both ends are opened. The body includes an insertion part(1a) forming the lower end of the body and a containing part(1b) forming an upper part of the insertion part. A cover(2) is positioned at the upper end of the body and allowed to be attached to open and close the containing part. The insertion part of the body is fixed vertically at a bottom portion of the paddy field. A plurality of penetration holes(4) is formed at a side surface of the body for a side of the lower end for the containing part and separated at predetermined intervals mutually along the longitudinal direction of the body. A diameter of the penetration hole is five millimeters, and the interval between the penetration holes is three millimeters approximately. The water level sensor measures the water level of the fresh water contained in the body.
