본 발명은 텔레비전 또는 다른 형태의 멀티미디어 터미널을 통한 조건부 액세스 콘텐츠(conditional access content)에 대한 가입자들의 액세스 영역에 관련된다.
현재의 시스템들에서, 제안된 텔레비전 프로그램들은 보급 시간, 보급 채널 및 "스타 워즈 II"와 같은 요약 설명에 의해 각 프로그램 또는 이벤트를 식별할 수 있도록 하는 정보를 가지고 프로그램 그리드(program grid) 상에 표시된다.
오늘날 이러한 이벤트들의 사용 계산은 가입 원리, 이벤트들의 구매 또는 시간 단위의 비용납부에 기초한다.
가입은 이러한 이벤트들을 송출하는 하나 또는 수 개의 방송 채널에 결부된 권한을 정의하여 사용자가 이러한 권한이 그들의 보안 모듈 내에 존재한다면 이러한 채널들은 확실히 획득하도록 할 수 있다.

Claims (4)
