Abstract

A system for transmitting digital broadcast is provided to produce an MPEG-2(Moving Picture Experts Group) transport stream for broadcast in a small box form including a USB(Universal Serial Bus) interface and a modulator and transmit the produced transport stream, thereby reducing prices and volume. A computer comprises the followings: a stream generating module for generating a first stream related to a video and audio; a multiplexing module for generating a multiplexing signal by multiplexing the first stream; and a first USB(Universal Serial Bus) interface for outputting the multiplexing signal. A modulator comprises the followings: a second USB interface for receiving the multiplexing signal; a modulating unit for generating a modulation signal by performing modulation of the multiplexing signal; and an RF(Radio Frequency) interface for transmitting the modulation signal to a digital broadcast player.
