Abstract

A portable LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) book reader is provided to show words of the desirable size on a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) LCD screen through a camera sensor control unit and an LCD control unit by changing an image into a digital signal and controlling a digital magnification ratio in a CPU(Central Processing Unit). A portable LCD book reader is composed of a close-up lens(12) for inputting an image; a camera sensor(14) for converting the input image into a digital signal; a camera sensor control unit(26) for controlling the input image signal; an LCD control unit(24) for controlling a TFT LCD screen; and a CPU(22) for magnifying and reducing the image signal and controlling the camera sensor control unit and the LCD control unit.
