Abstract

An oil level gauge is provided to enable a general user to readily approach the oil level gauge and readily determine contamination and precise oil state in an engine room. An oil level gauge includes an oil chamber(20), a vacuum tube(30), and a transparent pressure-resistance vessel(40). The oil level gauge is disposed between a ladder frame(11) and an oil fan(12). The oil chamber has through-holes at its upper and lower sides. The vacuum tube is inserted into the oil chamber and has three measurement holes(31). The transparent pressure-resistance vessel is connected to the vacuum tube and mounted on a cylinder head cover to readily check an oil level. The transparent pressure-resistance vessel has a check valve(42) installed at one side thereof and a pressure cap(41) horizontally disposed at an upper side thereof.
