Abstract

A mobile equipment having a separable expansion device is provided to enable a user to install and use a suitable expansion device according to the taste of a user by providing an expansion bay and selectively connecting various kinds of expansion device through the expansion bay. A main body(30) in a mobile equipment consists of the first unit(31) and the second unit(32). The second unit(32), installed at the front of the first unit(31), makes sliding motions for the first unit(31). An expansion bay(46) is concavely formed at a side of the top of the second unit(32) so that an expansion device(50) can be installed. The expansion bay(46) comprises a bay connector, which takes charge of signal connection between the inner part of the main body(30) and the expansion device(50). The bay connector comprises a relatively large number of terminals for signal connection with expansion devices.
