무인 키오스크를 이용하는 사람들에게 정보를 줄뿐만 아니라 무인 키오스크의 인터넷 연결로 인하여 쇼핑을 할 수 있다. 기존 키오스크는 단지 한정된 정보를 제공 하였다. 이런 단점을 보완하여 전용 쇼핑몰 키오스크를 이용하여 실시간으로 물건을 구입하는데 어려움이 없고 직접 상담원 연결로 인해서 원하는 정보를 얻을 수 있어 쇼핑에 질이 올라 갈 것이다. 인터넷 쇼핑몰과 달리 키오스크에 설치한 VOIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) 인터폰을 이용하여 실시간으로 화상 상담이 가능하며, 인터폰 수화기를 들었을 시 소리가 수화기 쪽에서 나오고 수화기를 내려놓았을 시 사운드가 키오스크 스피커를 통하여 나오게 되어 있다. 카드리더기의 설치를 통해 실시간으로 카드 결제가 가능하다. 키오스크가 대기모드 일 때는 영상 광고가 나오다가 동작 감지 센서를 이용하여 사람이 동작이 감지되면 돌출(pop-up) 광고를 하는 기능을 갖도록 한 것이다.
