Claims (3)
- 백라이트 유닛(2)의 전면에 배치된 제 1투명기판(4)과, 상기 제 1투명기판(4)의 표면에 일체로 형성된 편광방향이 0°또는 45°인 제 1편광영역(60)과 편광방향이 90°또는 135°인 제 2편광영역(61)이 서로 엇갈리는 구조로 같은 평면상에 위치하고, 상기 제 1편광영역(60)과 제 2편광영역(61)의 전면에는 제 1절연층(32)이 적층되고, 제 1배향막(6)과 제 2배향막(7)사이에 액정층(10)이 배치되고, 상기 제 2배향막(7)의 전면에 제 2투명전극(8)과 컬러 필터(9)가 배치되며, 그 다음에는 제 2절연층(35)이 있고, 제 3편광영역(80)과 제 4편광영역(81) 및 제 2투명기판(11)이 순차적으로 배치되며, 맨 앞쪽 면은 무반사 코팅층(24)을 포함하여 구성되는 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 제 1편광영역(60)과 제 2편광영역(61)이 일체로 체스판의 형태로 형성되고, 상기 제 1편광영역(60)과 제 2편광영역(61)의 편광방향이 90° 교차하는 구조로 제 3편광영역(80)과 제 4편광영역(81)이 체스판의 형태로 평면상에 배치되고, 상기 제 2투명기판(11)의 다음에 1/4위상차판(68)이 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 박판 편광판과 위상차판을 구비한 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제 1편광영역(60), 제 2편광영역(61), 제 3편광영역(80) 및 제 4편광영역(81)의 편광판은 전도성 편광판을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하 는 박판 편광판과 위상차판을 구비한 액정표시장치.
- 백라이트 유닛(2)과, 상기 백라이트 유닛(2)의 전면에 전체가 직선 편광판으로 되어 있는 제 3편광판(52)이 있고, 그 다음으로 제 1투명기판(4)의 전면의 표면에 제 2 1/2 위상차판(90)과 투명부(91)가 배열되고, 그 다음에 제 1절연층(32)이 있고, 상기 제 1절연층(32)의 전면에 제 1투명전극(5) 및 제 1배향막(6)이 차례로 배열되고, 제 1배향막(6)과 제 2배향막(7)사이에 액정층(10)이 있으며, 상기 제 2배향막(7)의 전면에 제 2투명전극(8)과 , 컬러필터(9)와 제 2절연층(35)이 순서대로 배치되고, 그 다음에 제 3편광영역(80)과, 제 4편광영역(81)과, 제 2투명기판(11)이 순서대로 배치되고, 맨 앞쪽 면은 무반사 코팅층(24)을 포함하여 구성되는 액정표시장치에 있어서,상기 제 2 1/2 위상차판(90)과 투명부(91)가 체스판의 형태로 같은 평면상에 배열되고, 상기 제 3편광영역(80)과 제 4편광영역(81)이 같은 평면상에 일체로 체스판 모양으로 배치되고, 상기 제 2투명기판(11)의 다음에 원편광을 만들어 주는 1/4 위상차판(68)이 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 박판 편광판과 위상차판을 구비한 액정표시장치.
