Abstract

A portable computer is provided to offer improved outer appearance by removing a separation line of a hinge cover for covering a hinge joining area of the portable computer. A main frame includes a bottom cover(20) mounting multiple parts, a top cover(32) combined to an upper side of the bottom cover, and the hinge cover(34) covering the hinge cover by being formed to the top cover as one body. A hinge part(40) includes a main frame bracket(42) received/combined with the top cover, a display bracket received/combined with a display unit(12), and a hinge shaft(46). One side of the hinge shaft is combined with the display bracket and another side of the hinge shaft is pivotally received to a shaft supporter(44). The hinge cover covers the shaft supporter. The hinge cover includes a downwardly opened part to cover the shaft supporter to a lower side from an upper side.
