Description
Claims (12)
- 순방향 오류정정 복호기를 동작시키는 방법에 있어서,패리티데이터 요소들을 포함하는 부호어(code word) 내의 데이터요소들이 오류 없는지를 결정하는 단계;오류 없는 데이터요소들에 대응하는 소거정보워드를 올바른 것으로 표시하는 단계;정정 가능한 것으로 표시된 요소들의 카운트를 소거정보워드 내에 유지하는 단계; 및정정 가능한 것으로 표시된 요소들의 카운트가 문턱을 넘지 않는 동안 그리고 올바르거나 정정 가능한 것으로 표시되지 않은 요소들이 소거정보워드에 남아 있는 동안, 소거정보워드의 비표시 요소들을 패리티데이터 요소들에 대응하는 요소들로 시작하여 소거정보워드의 다른 요소들에 대해 계속하여 정정 가능한 것으로 표시하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 정정되지 않는 데이터의 존재를 출력에 표시하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 부호어는 부호화테이블의 행인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 복호기는 리드솔로몬 복호기인 방법.
- 하나 이상의 프로세서를 포함하는 순방향 오류정정 복호기에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 프로세서는,패리티데이터 요소들을 포함하는 부호어 내의 어떤 데이터요소들이 오류 없는지를 결정하며;오류 없는 데이터요소들에 대응하는 소거정보워드 내의 요소들을 올바른 것으로 표시하며;정정 가능한 것으로 표시된 요소들의 카운트를 소거정보워드 내에 유지하며; 그리고정정 가능한 것으로 표시된 요소들의 카운트가 문턱을 넘지 않는 동안 그리고 올바르거나 정정 가능한 것으로 표시되지 않은 요소들이 소거정보워드에 남아 있는 동안, 소거정보워드의 비표시 요소들을 패리티데이터 요소들에 대응하는 요소들로 시작하여 소거정보의 다른 요소들에 대해 계속하여 정정 가능한 것으로 표시하도록 구성된 순방향 오류정정 복호기.
- 제5항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 프로세서는 추가로 정정되지 않는 데이터의 존재를 복호기 출력에 표시하도록 구성된 순방향 오류정정 복호기.
- 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 부호어는 부호화테이블의 행인 순방향 오류정정 복호기.
- 제5항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 복호기는 리드솔로몬 복호기로서 구현된 순방향 오류정정 복호기.
- 제5항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 복호기는 요소 행들 중의 191개가 비 패러티데이터 요소 행들인 255개 요소 행들을 가지는 순방향 오류정정 복호기.
- 제5항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 순방향 오류정정 복호기를 구비하는 수신기.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 수신기는 디지털 비디오방송 수신기로서 구현된 수신기.
- 제10항 또는 제11항에 기재된 수신기를 구비한 이동단말.
