Abstract

본 발명은 이동통신 단말기의 키패드 배열 구조에 관한 것으로, 종래에는 주로 LCD 화면 하단에 영역을 나누어 메뉴를 표시하고 그 영역에 해당키를 배열시켰으나 실제 키 배열은 이와 동일하지 않기 때문에 사용자가 익숙하지 않으면 특정 기능을 실행하기 위하여 어떤 키를 조작해야 하는지 쉽게 알 수 없는 문제점이 있었다. 이러한 문제점을 감안한 본 발명은 이동통신 단말기의 화면에 표시된 항목을 선택하기 위한 키패드의 배치 구조에 있어서, 이동통신 단말기 상부 폴더에 위치하며, 화면의 메뉴 항목과 대응되도록 화면 하단에 배치한 사용자키 또는 이동통신 단말기 상부 폴더의 화면에 나란히 배치한 방향키로 구성되어 화면에 표시되는 메뉴를 동작시키기 위한 키 매핑을 부각시켜 사용자가 조작할 키를 쉽게 인지하도록 하는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to a structure of a keypad arrangement of a mobile communication terminal.
