Abstract

본 발명은 휴대폰 등의 이동통신 단말기에서 메뉴의 초성 문자를 이용하여 원하는 메뉴를 손쉽게 검색할 수 있도록 한 기술에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명은, 메뉴 이름들을 초성 문자로 매핑시켜 메뉴 테이블을 작성한 후, 사용자의 요구에 따라 문자 입력모드로 전환하는 제1과정과; 사용자가 찾기위해 입력하는 메뉴 이름의 초성문자를 상기 메뉴 테이블에서 검색하는 제2과정과; 상기 검색 결과에 따라 해당 메뉴들을 화면에 표시하여 목적한 메뉴를 선택할 수 있도록 하는 제3과정에 의해 달성된다.The present invention relates to a technology for easily searching for a desired menu using the initial letter of the menu in a mobile communication terminal such as a mobile phone.
