본 발명은 헤어스타일을 촬영된 사람 영상에 자동으로 합성하는 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 얼굴 컬러색 기반으로 배경영역을 제거하고 추출된 얼굴 상에서 얼굴 구성요소를 최소 근접 사각형의 위치 및 크기의 특성정보로 추출함으로써, 헤어스타일과 합성되는 기준점을 설정하고, 헤어스타일에 설정된 기준점과 매칭하게 함으로써 자동화되고 빠른 헤어스타일 합성 방법에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a system and method for automatically synthesizing a hairstyle to a photographed human image, and in particular, removes a background area based on a color of a face, and sets a face component on a extracted face to have characteristics of the position and size of a minimum proximity rectangle. 상기한 바와 같은 종래기술의 문제점을 개선하기 위해, 본 발명에서는 영상 처리 기술을 이용하여 입력 영상에서 자동으로 얼굴 영역, 얼굴 구성요소를 추출하여 헤어스타일 합성 기준 점을 설정함으로써, 헤어스타일 합성을 자동으로 구현하는 방법 및 시스템을 제공하는 것을 그 과제로 한다.
