The present invention relates to a parallax barrier pattern printing mask for manufacturing a parallax barrier by a printing technique and a parallax barrier manufactured using the parallax barrier pattern printing mask.
The development of three-dimensional image display media affects not only the image field but also related industrial effects to the home appliance and telecommunications industry, as well as the aerospace, arts and automation industries. It is expected to be much larger than HDTV (High Definition Television).
Today, stereoscopic movie viewing using polarized glasses is not only common among the three-dimensional image display devices, but various stereoscopic image generation techniques are known, and some of them are actually produced beyond the laboratory stage to produce three-dimensional application images and three-dimensional advertisements. , Cultural property preservation and exhibition 3D TV and video, computer vision, virtual world experience, simulation and work, 3D video conferencing, 3D graphics, 3D entertainment, 3D movies, etc. .
Three-dimensional image display technology is a technology that makes the sense of three-dimensional sense by using the binocular parallax (Binocular Parallax), which is the biggest factor for recognizing three-dimensional feeling in the near distance.
There are two types of viewing 3D images: glasses and glasses. Wearing glasses is inconvenient to wear glasses and wearing glasses is inconvenient to see other things other than the image.
For this reason, recently, studies on autostereoscopic 3D images have been actively conducted. A typical method of autostereoscopic 3D imaging is a lenticular lens sheet in which a plurality of semi-cylindrical lenses are arranged in front of the image panel, and a parallax in which light transmitting portions and light blocking portions are alternately arranged in succession. There is a Parallax Barrier method in which a Parallax Barrier sheet is installed in front of the image panel. In general, the parallax barrier system includes a display panel and a light blocking screen disposed at a position spaced apart from the panel by a predetermined distance. The light blocking screen (barrier) is formed in the vertical parallel to the light transmitting portion through which the light from each dot of the display panel, the light from the pixel for the left eye through the blocking screen is incident only to the left eye, the light from the pixel for the right eye Is configured to be incident only to the right eye.
FIG. 1A is a partially exploded perspective view of a stereoscopic image display device according to the prior art using a parallax barrier, and FIG. 1B is a partial cross-sectional view of the stereoscopic image display device shown in FIG. 1A.
Referring to the drawing, in the
Each of the
The
By the above-described configuration, the right eye image implemented in the
In order to use such a parallax barrier, an attempt has been made to manufacture a glass substrate on which a parallax barrier layer is stably printed by printing a thermosetting paint directly on a glass substrate using a printing technique.
The mask used for such a printing process is shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, the mask used in the printing process has a line width of the
Also, if the mask is lifted after the roller has been reciprocated for printing, the lines may be shaken or bent, resulting in inaccurate printing, resulting in inaccurate printing at 4 mm printing intervals, resulting in a high quality glass substrate parallax barrier. It caused a problem.
In addition, when the parallax barrier pattern is printed on the surface of the glass substrate and used as the parallax barrier, there is a problem in that the luminance of the manufactured 3D imaging device is lowered because the barrier prevents a part of light from being transmitted.
The present invention is to solve the above problems, an object of the present invention to provide a parallax barrier pattern printing mask that does not bend in one direction even when the roller moves to print the parallax barrier pattern on the glass.
The present invention provides a mask for printing a parallax barrier pattern in which a print transmission region for transmitting printing ink and a print blocking region for blocking printing ink are alternately formed in order to solve the above problems.
In the present invention, it is characterized in that the shape of the transmission region for transmitting the printing ink and the blocking region for blocking the printing ink is striped.

In the present invention, the transmission region for transmitting the printing ink is characterized in that it comprises a spacing portion for connecting the blocking regions for blocking the adjacent printing ink.

In the present invention, the space maintaining portion is characterized by being formed at a predetermined angle with the print transmission region for transmitting the printing ink.
