Abstract
The present invention relates to a newborn baby jaundice phototherapy eye patch of a new configuration that is completely blocked from being irradiated to the eyes of the newborn during phototherapy, excellent fit and easy to use,
Base sheet 10 having a long shape left and right to cover the baby's eyes around; An adhesive layer 20 formed on an entire bottom surface or a bottom circumference of the base sheet 10; A reflective sheet 30 formed of a metal thin film having a size smaller than that of the base sheet 10 and attached to an upper or lower surface of the base sheet 10; And a release paper 40 attached to the bottom surface of the base sheet 10 by the adhesive layer 20.
Description
The present invention relates to a neonatal jaundice phototherapy eye patch, a new configuration of neonatal jaundice phototherapy eye patch that is almost completely blocked from being irradiated to the newborn eye during the phototherapy, excellent fit and easy to use. .
Jaundice is a bilirubin (Bilirubin) pigment that accumulates in excess of the body's excess and causes yellowing of the whites of the eyes, skin and mucous membranes.
In particular, neonatal jaundice present in newborns requires aggressive treatment because it can damage the nervous system in severe cases. The treatment of neonatal jaundice includes medication, phototherapy, and transfusion, but phototherapy is the most common treatment.
Phototherapy involves irradiating newborns with certain wavelengths of light so that jaundice-causing bilirubin is released directly from the kidneys without metabolic processes in the liver. In such phototherapy, the baby's eyes are covered by the light because strong light can cause damage to the baby's retina. Therefore, the eyepiece must be effectively blocked to protect the baby's eyes.
On the other hand, the conventional eye patch is formed by attaching a thick black film on the upper surface of the base sheet, the adhesive layer is formed on both ends of the base sheet.
However, since the adhesive layer is formed only at both ends of the base sheet, such a conventional eye patch may not be attached to the face so that a gap is generated between the face and the eye patch, and light may flow into the gap.
In addition, since a thick blackout cloth is used to prevent light from penetrating the eye patch, the weight of the eye patch is increased and the wearing comfort is poor.
The present invention is to solve the above problems, because the light reflects the light does not penetrate the eye patch as well as because the eye contact is close to the face does not generate a gap between the face and the eye patch can be introduced. It is to provide a new configuration of neonatal jaundice phototherapy eye patch to protect the baby's eyes safely during the phototherapy, excellent fit and easy to use.
According to one aspect of the present invention, in the eyepiece for protecting the baby's eyes from light during the phototherapy of neonatal jaundice, the
