Description

Root canal cleaning equipment {IRRIGATION DEVICE FOR ROOT CANAL CLEANING}

The present invention relates to an apparatus for an appliance, and more particularly, to an apparatus for cleaning a root canal of a tooth using ultrasonic vibration.

For root canal treatment, it is necessary to clean the inside of the root canal. That is, it prevents the growth of bacteria inside the root and pulp and minimizes the presence of bacteria.

In order to wash the root canal, a method of washing by adding a washing solution into the root canal has been conventionally used. However, because the root canal was very narrow, the washing solution was not added properly and the washing was not performed properly.

As such, as disclosed in Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 10-2007-0023727, a method of cleaning and delivering a fluid to the inside of the root canal using a vacuum is used. However, in this case, the steps of inserting and cleaning the cannula and the fluid tube into the root canal, respectively, are complicated and relatively expensive.

An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems, to provide an equipment that can effectively wash the root canal with a simple equipment.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an equipment that can be driven stably without breaking even if ultrasonic vibration is applied to the tip.

The above objects and various advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the preferred embodiments of the present invention by those skilled in the art.

The object of the present invention can be achieved by the equipment for root canal washing. The apparatus of the present invention comprises: an ultrasonic generator for generating ultrasonic waves; A vibration tip connected to the ultrasonic generator and vibrating by ultrasonic vibration to form a vortex in the cleaning liquid supplied to the root canal to wash foreign substances, and the rotation tip comprises: a handle connected to the ultrasonic generator; And a hollow tip having a closed end connected to the handle and inserted into the root canal.

According to one embodiment, the outer diameter of the tip is in the range of 0.25mm ~ 0.35mm, the end region of the tip is formed round.

In the device of the present invention, the tip of the tip inserted into the root canal slightly vibrates by the frequency generated from the ultrasonic generator and forms a vortex in the cleaning liquid. Vortex generated in this way effectively cleans the foreign matter inside the root canal.

In addition, the device of the present invention can minimize the manufacturing cost and installation cost because it can be used by combining only the rotation tip to the ultrasonic generator used for conventional scaling.

In addition, since the hollow region is formed in the interior of the present invention, the tip may be stably used for a long time without damaging the tip even when repeated vibration is applied.

Figure 2 is a perspective view showing an enlarged tip structure of the navigation equipment according to the present invention,
Figure 3 is an exemplary view showing a process of washing the root canal using the equipment of the present invention.

In order to fully understand the present invention, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The embodiments of the present invention may be modified into various forms, and the scope of the present invention should not be construed as being limited to the embodiments described in detail below. The present embodiments are provided to enable those skilled in the art to more fully understand the present invention. Therefore, the shapes and the like of the elements in the drawings can be exaggeratedly expressed to emphasize a clearer description. It should be noted that in the drawings, the same members are denoted by the same reference numerals. Detailed descriptions of known functions and configurations that may be unnecessarily obscured by the gist of the present invention are omitted.

1 is a perspective view showing the structure of the device 100 according to the present invention, Figure 2 is a perspective view showing the structure of the rotation tip 120.

As shown, the apparatus 100 according to the present invention includes an ultrasound generator 110 and an ultrasound tip 120 connected to the ultrasound generator 110 and vibrating by ultrasound.

Irrigation equipment 100 according to the present invention can be installed in the vicinity of the chair for dental treatment as shown in FIG. It may also be installed to be movable in some cases.

The ultrasonic generator 110 causes the rotation tip 120 to vibrate by ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic generator 110 may be provided to operate in a frequency range of 24 ~ 32Khz. The ultrasonic generator 110 may be provided separately for the Irrigation equipment 100 or may be used interchangeably with the ultrasonic generator 110 for the scaler used for scaling in the dentist.

Irrigation tip 120 is inserted into the root canal to deliver the vibration generated by the ultrasonic generator 110 to the cleaning liquid. The rotation tip 120 includes a handle 121 connected to the ultrasonic generator 110 and a tip 123 connected to the handle 121 and inserted into the root canal.

The handle 121 is not particularly limited, and is preferably provided in a range of 8 to 40 mm in diameter to be easily gripped by hand. Tip 123 is provided with a length that can be fully inserted into the root canal. To this end, the tip 123 is not particularly limited but is preferably provided with a length of 10 ~ 30mmm.

Tip 123 is provided so that when the ultrasonic frequency is applied by the ultrasonic generator 110, the end region inserted into the root canal oscillates up and down. Tip 123 is not particularly limited in outer diameter is preferably provided with 0.25 ~ 0.35mm. The thinner the outer diameter of the tip 123, the finer the vibration performance can be improved, but is provided in 0.25mm or more due to the manufacturing limits and fracture resistance. In addition, when the outer diameter of the tip 123 exceeds 0.35mm, the vibration effect is lowered and it does not deliver sufficient ultrasonic vibration to the cleaning liquid.

On the other hand, the tip 123 is provided in the form of a hollow tube inside. The inner hollow area 123a allows the tip 123 to elastically deform without breaking when a vibration is applied to the tip 123. That is, a solid tip having no hollow area may be broken due to relatively weak vibration, but reinforces the strength of the tip 123 by absorbing vibration to some extent by resonance applied to the hollow area 123a. It plays a role.

Here, the diameter of the hollow region 123a is not particularly limited, but is preferably provided in the range of 0.15 to 0.25 mm. As a result, the thickness of the wall surface of the tip 123 formed by the hollow region 123a is not particularly limited, but is preferably in the range of 0.05 to 0.1 mm.

Here, the tip 123 is provided with a stainless steel material for durability and cleanliness.

On the other hand, the end region 123b of the tip 123 is provided in a round shape. This is because if the end region of the tip 123b is sharply formed, hemorrhoids can be removed and the ability to follow the curved root canal is reduced.

The process of washing the root canal by using the equipment 100 according to the present invention having such a configuration will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3.

When the patient is seated in the chair, the worker inserts the cleaning liquid (C) into the root canal (B) of the tooth (A) using the cleaning tip 130. When the washing solution C is filled in the root canal B, power is applied to the ultrasonic generator 110 and the tip 123 is inserted into the root canal B.

As shown in FIG. 3, when the tip 123 is inserted into the root canal B, the end region of the tip 123 vibrates up and down by ultrasonic waves generated by the ultrasonic generator 110. The period of the vibration generated by the tip 123 may be adjusted according to the frequency applied by the ultrasonic generator 110.

As the tip 123 vibrates, vortices are generated in the cleaning liquid C filled in the narrow root canal B, and foreign substances formed in the root canal B or the tooth wall may be washed. The vortices generated by the ultrasonic vibration can be cleaned to a minute place to clean foreign substances such as calcium hydroxide and dentin cuttings.

Embodiments of the inventive equipment described above are merely exemplary, and those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications and equivalent other embodiments are possible therefrom. Could be. Therefore, it is to be understood that the present invention is not limited to the form described in the foregoing description. Accordingly, the true scope of protection of the present invention should be determined by the technical idea of the appended claims. It is to be understood that the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
