Abstract
The present invention uses optical fiber in the method of radiating or irradiating laser light. Most of the light goes out from the end of the optical fiber, and some of them are conical like the tip of a pencil. Ray point beams are gathered at the part and used as a knife tip to cut tissue. The laser beam usually spreads from the end of the optical fiber, which is why the cut ends up the cut section, which causes burns to the surrounding tissue, which makes the wound very time-consuming.
However, if the laser beam tries to emit light in a circular direction from the inside of the tissue in a circular shape, the fiber ends are conical and the cone angle is well adjusted so that the laser beam does not gather at the ends but spreads out to the side.
It is a conical fiber using this method.
Description
There are direct and indirect methods of transmitting laser light, and as an indirect method, an optical fiber (transmitter) is used. Most of them use a linear light but send light to the side. This can be done by placing a reflector on the optical fiber or by sending the light to the side in the form of a cone.
Conventional methods use a reflector to reflect light to one side, or a 360 degree reflector to reflect light in a 360-degree direction and send it to the side,
The same conical shape, but the length of the end is longer as shown in Figure 1, the light is not coming to the side, but to collect the light to the end, so to emit light to the side, the angle of the cone must be as shown in Figure 2 or Figure 3 Will.
When using general optical fiber, the light is used to go straight ahead, so no reflector is needed, but to reflect the light from the narrow side like a human body to the side, use reflector or conical shape at the end of optical fiber. You need a way to send the light to the side by adjusting the angle of the.
The reflector may be used to send the laser light to the 90 degree side through the optical fiber, but it is cumbersome and when the end of the fiber is processed into a conical shape, the light travel direction is changed according to the angle adjustment. Is to send to the side.
In order to make the optical fiber tip into a conical shape, it is possible to make the tip into a conical shape by processing and grinding with a special tool.
When the laser light is emitted to the side, it is very convenient because the procedure can be difficult for the optical fiber coming out in a straight line, and it is very convenient because it can deliver constant energy to the inside of the tube as a whole. There is an advantage.
As shown in the diagram, an optical fiber is composed of a sheath and an optical fiber.
Depending on the shape, the angle at which the laser beam is emitted varies.
Figure 1 is a conventional one, the laser beam is going straight at the end and Figures 2 and 3 shows that the angle of emission is also changed according to the cone angle.
Peel off the sheath of the fiber and cut the fiber into a conical shape by adjusting the angle with a special grinder.
There are many ways to adjust the angle, such as adjusting the device to fix the optical fiber and adjusting the angle of the grinder. The angle can be used in various angles where the light can come out to the side. 25-60 degrees is appropriate and above and below angles are also available.

You may not have to get a 90 degree angle, so you can use different angles to emit light at different angles.
