즉, 기존 스타킹은 밴드부(103)에 의한 압박감이 있고 착용하고 활동하는 경우 잘 흘러내리는 불편함이 있었다. 밴드부(3)는 스판카바링사를 이용하여 직조되는데 상단 3 ~ 5mm가 2겹으로 직조된다. 이로써 밴드부(3)의 상부(A)는 2겹이고 나머지 부분(B)은 1겹을 이루게 된다. 1겹인 부분은 예를 들어 50mm가 될 수 있다.
그리고 밴드부(3) 내면에는 원주방향을 따라 실리콘(5)이 다양한 모양으로 코팅된다. 실리콘 자체의 점착성에 의해 밴드부가 신체에 잘 접촉되어 있게 된다.
