본 발명은 영어와 같은 외국어 습득과정에서 말하기, 쓰기등의 능력을 높일 수 있는 기존의 청화식훈련법의 대표적 학습방법인 동시통역훈련에서 사용되는 방법을 컴퓨터 프로그램을 이용하여 더욱 발전시켜 말하기능력을 높일 수 있는 학습프로그램 구현에 관한것이다. 그 구성은 [도 1]과 같이 통역훈련 문장 데이터를 저장한 학습데이터 부(10)와 훈련을 실행시키는 프로그램 구현부(20), 학습자에게 통역문장을 보여주거나 들려주는 디스플레이(Display, Monitor)부(30)로 크게 나눌 수 있다. 학습데이터 부는 음성데이터(WAV, MP3 등) 또는 음성과 동영상을 담고 있는 데이터(AVI, MPG 등)와 통역대상이 되는 한국어와 외국어(영어, 일어 등등)의 문자열 데이터로 및 통역훈련을 지행시키는데 필요한 정보로 구성되어 있다. 프로그램 구현부는 난수를 발생시켜 통역훈련대상이 되는 문장을 섞는 부분(21)과, 학습자에게 대답해야할 외국어 문장의 힌트의 역할을 하는 단어를 골라 임의의 순서 또는 난이도에 맞춰 힌트 단어의 숫자를 선택하는 부분(22), 그리고 훈련과정을 조정하는 훈련 콘트롤(Control) 부분(23), 컴퓨터화면에 표시하는 부분으로 구성된다. [도 2]은 학습자의 훈련과정과 컴퓨터 모니터에 출력과정의 순서를 보여주는 것으로 [1] 과 같이 맨처음 화면에는 통역해야할 한국어 문장이 나타난다. 이때 한국어 음성이 함께 나올 수 있으며, 한국어 문장의 텍스트 보여주는 대신 동영상화면이 대신할 수 있다. 한국어 문장이 모니터에 보여진 후 [2]와 같이 외국어 힌트단어들이 나온다. 이 힌트단어를 이용하여 학습자는 문장을 구성하여 통역하는데 학습자가 지정해준 난이도에 따라 힌트단어의 갯수와 힌트단어의 순서가 결정된다. 즉 학습자가 정해주는 사항은 힌트단어를 임의의 순서로 혼합할것인지, 정답과 같은 순서로 보일것인지, 힌트 단어의 수를 많게 할지 적게 할지를 정하여 컴퓨터 모니터에 보여준다. 힌트단어는 품사에 따라 서로 다른 색상을 가질 수 있다.
