Abstract

PURPOSE: A transparency control device of a homebar door in a refrigerator is provided to reduce power consumption, and to prevent noise and wrong operation from opening and closing the homebar door by checking contents in the refrigerator without opening the homebar door. CONSTITUTION: A homebar door of a refrigerator is formed of an LCD(liquid crystal display) panel, and transparent acryl panels are overlapped on both sides of the LCD panel. A transparency control device of the homebar door is composed of a key input unit(26) inputting the key for controlling the transparency of the homebar door by a user, and a power supply unit(28) controlling the transparency of the homebar door by supplying or shutting off power to the LCD panel in inputting the key by the key input unit. The LCD panel is protected by forming the transparent panel on both sides of the LCD panel.
