본 발명은 스크롤 기능이 부가된 노트북 컴퓨터 등의 터치패드에 관한 것이다. 더 상세하게는 터치패드의 외곽에 5밀리미터 정도의 스크롤명령 영역을 만들고, 스크롤명령 영역에 손가락 닿는 것이 인지되면, 화면은 커서진행의 역방향으로 스크롤 되고, 몇 초가 지나면 스크롤 시간의 제곱에 비례하여 스크롤 속도를 가속함으로써 멀리 있는 목적지까지 빠른 시간에 커서를 도달시키는 터치패드를 제공한다.The present invention relates to a touchpad such as a notebook computer with a scroll function.
