Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for processing a slip of a credit card and a system for improving the same are provided to make a scanner automatically recognize/convert the slip of various forms and output in a non-formatted form from a credit card terminal into an image, and make the scanner automatically record data. CONSTITUTION: A program module for outputting a barcode is inserted into various kinds of credit card terminals. If the barcode is output to the slip, a slip manager stores a data value by using a hand scanner(3-3). In case that a large scanner(3-1) is used, the slip output as the barcode is recognized in the large scanner primarily. If an error is generated, the data is recognized by using the hand scanner(3-2).
