Abstract

PURPOSE: A steering wheel with a keyboard in a vehicle is provided to make the best use of the telematics system by using the keyboard, and to improve the appearance by folding and storing the keyboard in not using. CONSTITUTION: An attachment part(12) is formed in the upper part of a hub(11) of a steering wheel(10) of a vehicle, and a keyboard(20) is mounted in the attachment part. The keyboard is connected and folded by a hinge part(21). The hinge parts are installed at 1/4 point and 3/4 point of the entire length of the keyboard, and the keyboard is folded around the hinge parts. The attachment part of the keyboard is recessed inward to restrict the folded keyboard from being protruded out of the steering wheel. Lowering of the appearance is prevented by forming the folded outside of the keyboard with the same material as the hub of the steering wheel.
