Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for receiving and supplying guide information is provided to collect guide information and data broadcasting information of other receiving mode while a user uses a specific receiving mode by using a receiver that simultaneously supports an ATSC-DASE(Advanced Television System Committee-DTV Application Software Environment) system and a DVB-MHP(Digital Video Broadcasting-Multimedia Home Platform) system, thereby supplying various guide information to the user. CONSTITUTION: If a user watches a terrestrial broadcasting program, a system changes a channel by an inner operation of a receiver as servicing the terrestrial broadcasting program and collects guide information on a satellite broadcasting program(S100,S110,S120). If the user watches the satellite broadcasting program, the system changes a channel by an inner operation of the receiver as servicing the satellite broadcasting program and collects guide information on the terrestrial broadcasting program(S100,S130,S140). The collected guide information is integratedly stored(S150). If the user wants the guide information, the guide information is supplied to the user(S160,S170).

본 발명은 가이드 정보 수신 및 제공방법에 관한 것으로서 특히, 디지탈 TV의 ATSC-DASE 방식과 DVB-MHP 방식을 동시에 지원하는 수신기에서 보다 효율적으로 많은 양의 가이드 정보를 수신하고 갱신하면서 사용자에게 다양하고 풍부한 가이드 정보를 제공할 수 있는 가이드 정보 수신 및 제공방법에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a method of receiving and providing guide information.
