Abstract

PURPOSE: An antivibration structure of an air compressor for bus is provided to absorb and block the vibration generated by the operation of the compressor and the force pulled toward an engine by a supporting bracket between the compressor and a chassis frame. CONSTITUTION: An antivibration structure of an air compressor for bus includes a supporting bracket(5). The supporting bracket includes an upper plate(5a) for fixing the compressor, and a lower plate(5b) fixed to chassis frames(6) which form the vehicle body part. Mounting elements(5') are coupled with the upper and lower plates while keeping an interval between the upper and lower plates, and generate force to the lower plate against the upper plate. The mounting elements are formed of rubber to increase the vibration absorbing effect. A compressor(2) is secured on the supporting bracket, so that the vibration generated by the compressor is not transmitted to the vehicle room.
