Abstract

PURPOSE: A luminous keypad is provided to be printed with a luminous paint, in order to prevent current consumption, and to accumulate light by using a back light of an LCD when all lights of the luminous paint are emitted, thereby increasing call/standby time and using the keypad in an emergency. CONSTITUTION: When all lights of a luminous paint are emitted(S1), a user sets a 'light-accumulating' menu on a cellular phone(S2). All the lights are accumulated by using a back light of an LCD on the cellular phone(S3). If the user opens a folder, a luminous keypad re-emits the lights(S4). If all the lights of the LCD on the cellular phone are not emitted, the luminous paint of the keypad emits the lights by exposing the keypad in a dark place(S4).
