Abstract
Description
본 발명은 토양개량제 제조방법에 관한 것으로 특히, 환경오염의 원인이 되는 산업 폐기물을 자원화하기 위하여 재활용할 수 있는 정수장 슬러지를 이용한 토양개량제 제조방법에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a method for producing a soil improver, and more particularly, to a method for producing a soil improver using water treatment plant sludge that can be recycled to recycle industrial waste causing environmental pollution.
통상적으로, 정수장 슬러지는 수돗물을 정수하는 과정에서 수중의 오탁물질이 침전되어 있는 진흙상태로서, 원수(原水)에 포함된 부유물 및 중금속과 같은 오염물질을 제거시키기 위해 황산알루미늄과 같은 무기계 응집제 또는 고분자 응집제 등이 사용되며 또한 대장균 및 일반세균의 화학적 살균처리법으로 염소 또는 오존 처리과정을 거치게 됨에 따라 정수장 슬러지는 오염된 상태로서 70∼80%의 높은 함수율과 유기물을 다량 포함하고 있다. 따라서 상기 정수장 슬러지는 농축, 탈수, 건조과정을 거친 다음 대부분 쓰레기 매립장에 매립되거나 수송선으로 운반되어 바다에 투기되고 있는 실정으로 환경오염의 요인이 되고 있으며, 처리에 많은 경비가 소요되고 있는 실정이다.In general, water purification plant sludge is a mud state in which contaminants in water are precipitated in the process of purifying tap water.
