Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for inputting a character of a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) is provided to input consonants easily by using a direction key and a shortcut button like an input method of a cellular phone. CONSTITUTION: A Korean/English/number input mode is selected by using a shortcut key. In case of a Korean input mode, the consonant not displayed on a display window of the PDA is inputted by using the first and the second button. In the case of an English input ode, the alphabets displayed on the display window are inputted by using the direction key.
