Abstract

PURPOSE: A dialing method in a mobile communication terminal is provided to immediately input a telephone number or characters on an initial screen when a user makes a call by using the mobile communication terminal, and to select a telephone number according with the inputted telephone number, thereby reducing dialing time. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal inputs key data corresponding to a telephone number to be retrieved through a key input unit by a user(S1). The terminal compares the inputted key data with stored telephone number information, and retrieves identical telephone number information(S2). The terminal displays the identical telephone number information on a display(S3). The terminal connects a call with the corresponding telephone number when the user selects the telephone number(S4).
