Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a commercial message in a mobile communication terminal is provided to transmit a commercial CB(Cell Broadcast) message while a user is on the line in case of using a DTX(Discontinuous Transmission) mode of a GSM(Global System for Mobile communication) to transmit the message irrespective of the state of the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A base station judges whether a transmission voice is detected. If the transmission voice is detected, the base station composes a general voice frame and composes a traffic channel. If the transmission voice is not detected, the base station judges whether a CB message is turned on.
